She leaves for Delcomar under her new name Nando Murrau.

Delcomar - Eolo

If you would like to see what other ships GB Conte and Anna Mur (St Catherine & St Helen) are running alongside, here is a little peek at Delcomar's Eolo which also runs Calasetta - Carloforte.

Eolo originated from Greece and carries somewhere in the region of 40 cars...and Delcomar certainly now how to pack them on!

(Sorry these are not Solent ferries but this was all taken on my holiday to Sardinia to see St Catherine/GB Conte)

Wightlink's St Helen Retires, prima di Delcomar Anna Mur

Thursday March 26th 2015, Wightlink's St Helen retires from 32 years service on the Portsmouth to Fishbourne route.

The event was marked with a final unscheduled round trip 10:30 from Portsmouth/11:30 from Fishbourne for former and current staff, fans and enthusiasts to come and say farewell.

On the return to Portsmouth St Helen was met by her direct successor Wight Light who saluted her with fire hoses, and a final farewell with younger sister St Cecilia.

Happily St Helen has THIS VERY WEEK been officially inaugurated into the fleet of Sardinian operator Delcomar Compagnia di Navigazione as th ANNA MUR and will operate from the beautiful town of Carloforte to the nearby ports of Calasetta and Portovesme.
(He sister St Catherine also moved on to this company and is now known by the name GB Conte)
