En élisant Antoine Delpero European Athlete of the Year 2012, L'euroSIMA a choisi de récompenser cette année un véritable Waterman.
A bientôt 27 ans, le natif de Marseille et résident Biarrot, a décroché cette année le titre de champion du monde de Stand Up Paddle ISA 2012 au Pérou, a remporté l'épreuve SUP World Tour de La Torche, et s'est également offert en longboard l'une des plus belles vagues de l'hiver à Pipeline, Hawaï. C'est un surfeur polyvalent aussi à l'aise en short board, qu'en SUP, en longboard ou en Alaia. A l'instar d'un Kai Lenny, autre Waterman de la famille OXBOW, Antoine Delpero incarne les valeurs fondamentales de la marque : audace, ouverture et excellence.

Sometimes you travel for months and you try to get some waves which never come, some other times your patience pays off, and some others you happened to go somewhere for work and you just change your ticket, for 4 more days to just try to get some footages and score some waves regarding the forecasts.. that's what happened and this was one of the best and shortest expedition in my favorite country to visit : Au Pays Des Sidi.
