Deluxcious Spa Restaurant & Hotel
Deluxcious, an old world style architectural beauty, is embodied in a late 19-century colonial-style house, charmingly decorated and tastefully furnished by its owner. This historic luxury hotel provides an ideal base to explore the fascinating heritage city, Penang.
They occupy the same premise and believe it or not, are meant to complement each other. Just pop in to Deluxcious anytime for an exhilarating meal or sign up for a spa treatment upstairs and be treated to a sumptious set lunch downstairs. The place offeres the best of both worlds -- holistic pampering and mouth-watering food. The idea is really quite brilliant. After you've had a relaxing spa treatment, you can just trot on downstairs for a healthy meal -- prepared by a Singapore Ritz Carlton former chef, no less!

loyal Programme: Golden Circle

This beachfront Shangri-La property which is strategically located along the pristine beach front of Batu Ferringhi, is like a resort enclave away from the hustle and bustle of Penang town.
Our stay at the Rasa Wing was a rather memorable one for reasons both good and bad. Unlike the Garden Wing, guests at the Rasa Wing enjoyed more exclusive privileges which included complimentary high tea and cocktail hour at the lounge area near the reception. This appeared to be one of the major highlights as we were treated to scrumptious delights washed down with a cup of invigorating tea, and had delicious light bites complemented with glasses of sparkling wine and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails during the happy hour.
As a Golden Circle member, we were privileged to be upgraded to a Rasa Wing Deluxe Suite which boasted a spacious balcony overlooking the pristine waters and sand, and an outdoor jacuzzi tub!

We eat Nasi Kandar at Line Clear, Rojak and Char Kway Teow from local stalls, and then we end our food tour with DURIAN! You'll have to wait and see what we thought of it. ;)
We finish the night at our GORGEOUS hotel, and rest up for another day of exploring!
Make sure you come back for our next adventure because it's a good one.

Pulau Pinang & Lagenda Cafe [ Part l ]
Pulau Pinang is nice city with modern buildings .... Nice beach with nice view & food delicious. The famous Teochew Chendol & Asam Laksa delicious .... Lagenda Cafe just ok for me .The satay sauce & gado-gado sauce little bit sweet for me.

Street food penang in Malaysia. My list of places to eat in penang malaysia
Street food penang in Malaysia PENANG 5 Great Hawker Centres in Penang Best hawker food courts on the island Hotels Flights Flight + Hotel Things To Do Our list of the 5 Great Hawker Centres in Penang comprises food courts that have concentrations of the best street side food vendors on the island. They are sometimes connected to casual Chinese coffee shops, but most times these open air centres are roadside affairs hosting a varied collection of hawker sellers and plenty of open air seating. Serving up inexpensively priced cuisine that is richly flavoured, they operate at all hours of the day and the reason the food is so good is because these hawkers use age-old family recipes and old fashioned cooking methods. The lifeline to locals and even travellers by helping to keep food budgets low, food presentation is not a priority but quality and freshness is always top notch. Hawkers furiously fry up their specialties which include char kway teow (flat rice noodles with cockles, prawns, chilli and bean sprouts) and chee cheong fun (rice noodle rolls). Expect to sit on colourful plastic tables and chairs on the roadside. Our favourite dish here is congee, a Chinese porridge made with rice instead of oats, which makes for a filling, hearty meal. Flavoured with a variety of side dishes, anything from fresh crab and eggs to pork and ginger chicken, this is basically Chinese comfort food.

PENANG STREET FOOD TOUR MALAYSIA | Georgetown Travel Vlog 087, 2017
Malaysia is known for it's amazing food and Penang is possibly the heart of that! So we decided to do a Penang Street Food Tour and get some local hawker food in Georgetown with 'Food Tour Malaysia' ⬇ Click 'Show More' to expand ⬇
This day in Penang was all thanks to Food Tour Malaysia, check them out here if you'd like to do a similar tour - they were awesome:
Trying Malaysian food as been really interesting as we travel, taking the food tour was actually the coolest way we could have done it. We go to hawker markets and eat at street food stalls ourselves but you never really learn anything or understand the story behind it. Our tour guide, Kevin, was awesome and as we made our way around Penang we learnt a lot about Malaysian history unique to Georgetown - it was a cool way to travel.
Thanks for watching this vlog, if you do come to Malaysia be sure to reach out to these guys and look into a Penang street food tour.

The Right Room - Episode 08 (Yeng Keng Hotel Penang for Heritage Lovers)
In the next episode of The Right Room, Adam and Kelly land on Penang to explore its world cultural heritage site and its famous culinary delights (
At Yeng Keng Hotel, a heritage boutique hotel situated in the heart of Georgetown restored from one of the oldest surviving and intact 19th century buildings, our hosts appreciate the charm and quaintness of traditional architecture combined with modern amenities and recreational areas that make it so homely and comfortable.
After that, our hungry hosts make a gastronomic trip to Gurney Drive, well-known for its hawkers' delights which some may claim is as delicious as -- if not more than - the finest gourmet experience in any city.

thank u jesus for blessing us with good food, amen
a 10 minute sneak peek to our 2 day 2 night adventure!!!!
thanks andrew, jaime and vince for being the best travel companions huehuehue ????????????
we recommend anyone else going to
1. not follow the facebook page 'penang foodie'; we suspect they are just sponsored to promote most places because they were terribly mediocre
2. (if interested to eat some of what we ate) follow this list by 'will fly for food' which we followed on our second day:
3. ask your grab drivers!!! hehehehe
we spent approximately 63 dollars per person throughout the trip (food, taxi, more food and more taxi + 14 dollar karaoke) so aaaah it was 100% worth it! grabbing to places (grabtaxi app) is much better than flagging for a taxi, we went around places for about 5 ringgit usually (divided by 4, divided by 3.... equals??!?!?)
