Peak District - Britain's Best Roads
This video is intended for people who like watching videos of sick roads!
The Retro Lab's Spring Break was an 896 mile, 4 day adventure which saw us attempt to travel from Lands End to the Lake District via Wales, the Peak District and the Yorkshire Dales, without using the motorway.
Filmed on a JVC Everio GZ-HM655, a Sony camcorder I can't remember the name of and a Nokia N8.

Britain’s currency is the pound sterling (£), which is divided into 100 pence (p).
Scotland has its own pound sterling notes. These represent the same value as an English note and can be used elsewhere in Britain. The Scottish £1 note is not accepted outside Scotland.
There are lots of bureaux de change in Britain – often located inside:

It's worth shopping around to get the best deal and remember to ask how much commission is charged.

Passport And Visas Requirements To Enter The UK
Please note: Following the recent referendum vote for the UK to leave the European Union (EU), there are currently no changes in the way people travel to Britain. The following guidelines still apply:
If you're planning an adventure to the UK, depending on your nationality and your reason for visiting, you may need to organise a visa.
If you're an American, Canadian or Australian tourist, you'll be able to travel visa-free throughout the UK, providing you have a valid passport and your reason for visiting meets the immigration rules (link is external).
Citizens from some South American and Caribbean countries as well as Japan are also able to travel visa-free around the UK.
European Union citizens, non-EU member states of the EEA (Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland), Switzerland, and members of the Overseas Countries and Territories (OCT) do not need a visa to enter the UK.
If you have any further visa questions visit the official UK government website.

Dangerous Near Miss YS07 VVD, Bamford Derbyshire
This was pass inches away and just before a blind corner.
At the traffic lights, the driver then proceeds to overtake the next car in hurried, careless manner.
The camera is mounted on the right of my handlebars
Went to the police about this. They apparently spoke to the driver, who they claim was an 87 year man and his frail wife driving at the time! Doesn't look like an 87 year old driving to me, and I distinctly got a glimpse of a 30-40 year old man driving when I caught up at the traffic lights. I suspect this car has been insuring using granddad's name to get it cheaper!
Nothing was done

Derwent and Howden reservoirs by tandem
For her birthday, i treat my friend to a bike ride round the Derwent and Howden reservoirs in the Derbyshire Peak district. We hired a tandem from the cycle hire place at Fairholmes. If you've never tried riding tandem, its awhole new experience for a cyclist, and great fun.
