“Desaru” means “Village Of Casuarinas” or palms. A malay word Desa which means village and “Ru” is the local name for Casuarinas. While Desaru may not be as secluded as it used to be, or as unpopulated, there is still an unspoiled and unmistakable pristine nature about the place. It's 22 kilometers of sand offer all the amenities or solitude anyone can expect, plus the added bonus of glistening waves on one side, and unspoiled jungle on the other.

From the outer look of the building it seem like a fairy tales concept whereby the building looks like a Castle from the Fairy Tales story line which the children and also the parents were enchanted with the concept. YEAY！没有想到我没有放弃，还有了第二支影片。
对我来说是动物教学之旅
我去了鸵鸟园 和鳄鱼园都是很棒的地方。
可以亲眼看看动动鸵鸟和小鳄鱼 学习很多有趣的动物知识。
不知不觉就过了 两三个小时在鸵鸟和鳄鱼园里。
从小学过后，我就很少有这种动物认知的知识了。
最重要是我没有看到萤火虫晚上！！超级伤心的！！！
哥打丁宜是一个棒的地方相较于迪沙鲁 比较多东西吃。
肉骨茶给我很深的印象 一个小小雅达屋 浓浓的汤底 好吃的肉
是我喜欢的肉骨茶味道 如果有机会就来吃吃看吧~
瀑布真的是很值得去的地方， 可以玩水和野餐。
个人觉得是个老少咸宜的地方。很喜欢被水打在身上的按摩的感觉。有兴趣就去看看吧！！

DESARU, the popular beach resort, is located on the eastern tip of the peninsula. Its clean sandy beaches with a lush tropical forest that goes for about 25 kilometres has made it a favorite spot for holiday-makers both local and foreign. To meet with the demand, there are many resorts and hotels here that cater to a variety of budget.
Its casuarina trees-lined beach and clean water has made many water sporting activities such as snorkeling, fishing, boating and canoeing possible. If you're not into that, you can also opt for horseback riding, tennis, golfing, or jungle trekking.
The sands on the beach is also unique, as it is rather grayish in color and the depth of the seabed from the beach is relatively shallow although you are 50 metres into the sea. However, without a doubt, Desaru has one of the best beaches in mainland Johor.
If time permits, do pay a visit to Tanjung Pengelih where the relics from World War II is kept. You can also view the historical artifacts from the Malay Johor Riau Empire at Johor Lama.
How to get there
DESARU is easily accessible as there are public transportation from Johor Bahru, Kota Tinggi or Tanjung Belungkor. From those coming from Singapore and other northern areas, you can opt to travel by road through Kota Tinggi or by ferry from Changi Point, Singapore. The journey will take about 1-1/2 hours from Johor Bahru to Desaru.

How to go to Kota Tinggi Waterfall Resort?
A weekday trip to Kota Tinggi waterfall Resort in Johor, Malayisa. A nice place to visit, but not on weekend, heard the day before there were about 4000 visitors, cannot imagine how pack the place is. We went on Monday and have a wonderful and peaceful soak in the water. Nice place to visit when you are in Johor.
