2015 Highway of Hero's Ride (Port Hope area)
Approaching Port Hope during the 2015 Highway of Hero's Ride.
At 00:17 we start to slow down. At 2:56 we slow down again. We've passed by 2 exits where we should have gotten off the highway!
The 401 was closed just past Port Hope due to a traffic fatality around 1:30AM that day. All traffic was to exit the highway, however several of us continued on until we could go no further due to the highway closure. At this point we had passed the last exit off the highway!
There were quite a few of us stuck here for 2 hours! (The highway itself was closed for almost 13 hours!) Cars were overheating & running out of fuel ......... Some drivers were kind enough to offer us bottled water which was greatly appreciated!

THE NECRONOMICON Pilot Episode For Channel 4 Belleville, Ontario 1994 (VHS Original)
Recently found in a warehouse that is slated for demolition this is the original pilot episode of The Necronomicon (dated 1994) that was created for channel four in Belleville, Ontario, Canada. Not much is known about this episode. Lovecraft scholars have said this still stands as one of the closest translations of the text.
The three names listed as creators were Ken Royea, Rob Mitchell and John Harvey. Rob Mitchell went missing during an expedition in Antarctica in 2013. John Harvey was last seen shouting gibberish in Kingston and fell off a Thousand Islands boat cruise into the murky depths of Lake Onatrio. Ken Royea settled down and fiercely guards his privacy.
