The journey from Marrakesh, to the Sahara began. Stopping off at some incredible spot in the mountains including the tizi n tichka winding roads, and some local Berber villages in Ouarzazate. It was an epic day!

Ouarzazate in Morocco is known as the door to the desert, the city is one of the beautiful travel destinations in the country. It offers plenty places to visit around : Kasbahs, Valleys, Oases, Atlas mountains, and Villages of red earth.
Ouarzazate is also considered to be the Hollyood of Morocco and Africa. It became world-famous for its movie studios.

We'd been told there were roadworks on the N9, but thought 'how bad can it be', turns out they were pretty rough. We'd not been told they were straightening the whole road and trying to do pretty much one side of the mountain all at once.

This summer I made a road trip through Morocco. It was such an incredible experience and one of the highlights was definitely my night and camel riding in the Sahara. In the Erg Chebbi desert, near the town of Merzouga in the south of Morocco we rode a camel (excuse me, a dromedary) for two hours before we arrived at the camp with traditional berber tents.
After spending the night in a berber tent, I woke up at 4:30 before sunset and went sandboarding. Yes, sandboarding in the desert! A travel dream coming true. It doesn't look very smooth, but of course we only filmed my first attempt. While I was trying to Snapchat on the side :') But hey, I got to take that of my bucket list!
