Nepal-Pokhara,Shiva Cave and Devi's Fall-Trip to Nepal,Tibet,India part18-Travel video HD
A sacred cave that houses a Shiva Temple, the Gupteshwar Gufa is an experience by itself. Although dark and dingy, the caves are beautiful from inside and offer amazing views of the nearby waterfall. The Shivalinga inside the cave is said to bein the same condition since it was explored. This shrine is said to have certain healing powers which attracts a number of visitors throughout the year.
Also known as Patale Chhango, this waterfall marks the point where the Pardi Khola stream vanishes underground. When the stream is at full bore after monsoon rains, the sound of the water plunging over the falls is deafening.

The water forms a tunnel after reaching the bottom. This tunnel is approximately 500 feet (150 m) long and runs 100 feet (30 m) below ground level. On 31 July 1961, a Swiss couple went swimming but the woman drowned in a pit because of the overflow. Her body was recovered 3 days later in river Phusre with great effort. Her father wished to name it David's falls after her but changed to Devi’s Fall. Its Nepali name is Patale Chango, which means underworld waterfall.[3] This is one of the most visited places in Nepal.
After exiting the tunnel, the water passes through a cave called Gupteshwor Mahadev or cave beneath the ground. The Phewa Lake dam is the water source.[4] The cave also acts as a tourism site because it has complex designs and people even forget the way inside the cave.

Devi's Fall (Pokhara, NEPAL)
(AS ON 08/2009)
Locally known as Patale Chhango (Hell's Fall), Devi's fall (also known as Devin's or David's) is an awesome waterfall lying about 2 km south-west of Pokhara airport on the highway to Tansen. An interesting modern legend says that a foreigner named David was skinnydipping in the Pardi Khola (river) when the floodgates of the dam were opened, sweeping him into an underground passage beneath the fall, never to be seen again.

Patale Chhango popularly known as Devi's Fall in Pokhara, Nepal
Also known as Patale Chhango, this waterfall marks the point where the Pardi Khola stream vanishes underground. When the stream is at full bore after monsoon rains, the sound of the water plunging over the falls is deafening. The falls are about 2km southwest of the airport on the road to Butwal, just before the Tashi Ling Tibetan camp.
According to one of the many local legends, the name is a corruption of David’s Falls, a reference to a Swiss visitor who tumbled into the sinkhole and drowned, taking his girlfriend with him.
