Devil’s Bridge Trail - Best hike in Sedona Arizona (Keep Your Daydream)
Add Devil’s Bridge on your hiking list when visiting Sedona, Arizona. This is now one our favorite hikes with gorgeous views and spectacular color. We share 4 things we learned from the hike that might be helpful for you when you visit.
The hike is only .7 miles from the trailhead, but another 1 miles from the parking lot. Round trip from the parking lot was 3.8 miles, but if you have a high clearance vehicle... you can drive on the road and park in a small parking lot at the trailhead. In the end, we actually liked the longer hike, but the drive would have been fun too.

Devil's Bridge Trail in Sedona, Arizona
A trail with incredible views of the red rock in Sedona, Arizona in November 2018.
Virtual Treadmill Hike - Devils Bridge in Sedona, Arizona
Just north of Sedona, Arizona, off the old Dry Creek Road, lies a real gem. Devil's Bridge is the largest sandstone arch in the Sedona area, and is only a short hike to get to it. Though it's a pretty steep climb at points, it can be cut down to less than 2 miles out and back if you drive in to the trailhead.
For this hike, we don't drive in, however. Even the 4x4 road in to the trailhead is a nice hike with gorgeous valley views. Perhaps the most popular trail in Sedona, we take off early in the morning on a weekday to beat the crowds - though there are still many people.
Devils Bridge Trail Drone Tour Sedona Arizona Pro Quality Imaging
A quick tour of the Devil's Bridge Trail in Sedona, Arizona. Filmed on location by Pro Quality Imaging, a Cincinnati, Ohio based digital media company that specializes in aerial photography and aerial video, during their recent trip to Arizona.
This flyover highlights some of the views that you can expect when traveling to the Sedona Arizona area and some of the terrain that you will need to cross in order to make the trek up-to the Devil's Bridge area.
The trail is relatively easy until you reach the base of the Devil's Bridge area, you steadily gain altitude but nothing major up to the base. From there you have a steep uphill crawl/climb via some primitive steps fashioned from natural rock. The severely uphill part is rather short, but certainly not for those with balance or health issues.
This is a very active trail and parking can be rather limited, come really early in the morning or a couple of hours before sunset if you want the best views. There's also parking elsewhere, you just may have to make a short hike to the trailhead.
Enjoy our footage and, if you take the hike, be sure to pack plenty of water.

Devil's Bridge - An Epic Sedona Hike - Red Rock Country Hiking in Arizona
Re-cut for your viewing pleasure, follow along as I take you from the parking lot to the freestanding sandstone bridge structure that has become synonymous with Sedona Hiking. See what it looks like from a first-person perspective. Spoiler: It looks a lot different!
Devils Bridge Trail, Sedona Arizona - VLog Episode 11
Sedona, Arizona:
Land of mysterious beauty and jaw dropping, red sandstone formations.
On this occasion, well focus our attention on the largest natural rock arch in the area, known to everyone as Devils Bridge.
The hike is considered to be on a Moderate Difficulty Level, 2 miles round trip from the Devil's Bridge parking area, 4 miles round trip from the parking area on Long Canyon Road, or 6 miles from the Dry Creek Vista parking area.
We opted for the scenic route, parked at Dry Creek Vista and started off on the Chuck Wagon Trail and it wast long at all before we met up with FR 152, a very rough and rugged dirt road that leads right up to the main parking area (Devils Bridge Parking Lot). We opted for not driving up said dirt road because its filled with big stones and uneven terrain, definitely not recommend for small vehicles. 4-Wheel Drive would be your best friend if I may add.
We arrived by 10am on a Sunday morning and parking was almost full, so id advice arriving early to avoid the crowds as this is one of Sedonas most popular hikes.
From Devils Bridge Parking Lot (Via the FR 152) is a very scenic short hike up to the arch (1 mile). You do have the option to follow the trail down to the foot of the red rock formation OR continue following the trail right up the very top of it and be rewarded by an incredible view.
This Episode is in Spanglish cause The Parents are not fluent in English so... yeah. I did my best to include my version of subtitles, but do know its not a word for word translation.
Spanish is weird like that lol.
Anyhow!
I hope this info can be of help to anyone out there planning on making the trip in the future!
All footage taken with GoPro Hero 4, HD 1080p.
