Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium (HPCAS) is a cricket stadium of international reputation, which serves as the home ground to the Himachal Pradesh state cricket . By virtue of its natural backdrop, it is one of the most attractive cricket stadiums in the world. It is also one the highest altitude Cricket Stadiums in the world. Some international matches are held here. The first One day International held at the ground was played between India and England on Sunday, 27 January 2013.

War Memorial or Martyrs Memorial or Saheed Smarak in Dharamshala
War Memorial (rather “Martyrs Memorial” or “Saheed Smarak”) is another place to visit near Dharmashala. This has been raised to commemorate the post independence martyrs of Himachal Pradesh. It is an open park with artistic structures and with war related artifacts. You may need about 1 hour to visit this park. You can get good backgournds to take photographs in this park. . In this side of Dharmashala there are typically 4 tourist points, viz., Kunal Pathri temple, tea garden, War memorial and Cricket stadium. Taxi takes about 800 rs to cover these four places and bring you back to Dharmashala.

There are two main attractions nearby the War Memorial-the beautiful GPG College Dharamshala, made during the British Era and a café serving fast food and beverages. Surrounded by sprawling gardens, the elegant looking War Memorial is a tribute to those brave souls who sacrificed their life for the country and this signifies that these soldiers will always be alive in our thoughts. During the operations of 1947-48, 1962, 1965, and 1971 and various peacekeeping missions, many soldiers lost their lives, and it was in their memory that the War Memorial was built with the names of those many heroes inscribed on the stone.

This vlog is about Dharamshala. We reached Dharamshala by Bus from Manali. So our traveling time period 8 to 10 hour. When we are going Dharmshala, that day, Match was running in Dharamshala Cricket stadium, so we have to faced traffic also. You can take private taxi too. Took our Bus from Manali to Dharamshala from ISBT Manali Bas Stand. We had been forgotten our tiredness after reach Dharamshala. Local tourist point in Dharamshala like War memorial, kunal pathri temple, Tea garden and cricket stadium. Cricket stadium closed next morning due to match and all so we didn’t go for it. One day is enough for Dharamshala visit. The best time to visit Dharamshala is during September to June.
