A huge reservoir in Comilla town of Dharmasagar Bangladesh . This is an ancient dighi. It is located in the heart of Comilla city. The area of Dharmasagar 23.18 acres.
The Maharaja of Tripura first dharmaamikya dharmasagar excavated in 1458. The main objective of the king was to prevent the water from the people of the region. According to Rajmala's book, Maharaja lived for 32 years (1431-62 AD). named Dharmasagar after the name of Maharaja Dharmikati . There are many legends and fables spread over the Dharmasagar.

ধর্মসাগরের পাড়ে পায়ে হাঁটার রাস্তা
ত্রিপুরার অধিপতি মহারাজা প্রথম ধর্মমাণিক্য ১৪৫৮ সালে ধর্মসাগর খনন করেন।[১] এই অঞ্চলের মানুষের জলের কষ্ট নিবারণ করাই ছিল রাজার মূল উদ্দেশ্য।রাজমালা গ্রন্থ আনুসারে মহারাজা সুদীর্ঘ ৩২ বৎসর রাজত্ব করেন (১৪৩১-৬২ খ্রি:)।[২] মহারাজা ধর্মমাণিক্যের নামানুসারে এর নাম রাখা হয় ধর্মসাগর। ধর্মসাগর নিয়ে ছড়িয়ে রয়েছে বহু উপাখ্যান ও উপকথা।
তাম্রলিপি
ধর্মসাগর উৎসর্গের সময় যে তাম্রলিপি প্রদান করা হয় তা নিন্মরূপ:-
“চন্দ্র বংশেতে মহামাণিক্য নৃপবর, তানপুত্র শ্রী ধর্মমাণিক্য শশধর।
তেরশ আশিশতকে সোমবার দিনে, শুক্লপক্ষ এয়োদশী মেষ সংক্রমনে।।
তাম্রপত্রে লিখি দিলাম এসব বচন, আমা বংশ মারি যে বা হয় রাজন।
তাহার দাসের দাস হইবেক আমি, আমা কীর্তি ব্রক্ষাবৃত্তি না লঙ্ঘিত তুমি।।”

তাম্রলিপির মর্ম
“চন্দ্র বংশোদ্ভব মহা মাণিক্যের সুধীপুত্র শশধর সদৃশ শ্রী শ্রী ধর্ম মাণিক্য ১৩৮০ মেষ সংক্রমনে (চৈত্র মাসের শেষ তারিখে) সোমবার শুক্ল এয়োদশী তিথিতে কৌতুকাদি তাষ্ট বিপ্রকে শষ্য-সমন্বিত ফল ও বৃক্ষাদি পূর্ণ উনত্রিশ দ্রোণ ভূমি দান করিলেন। আমার বংশ বিলুপ্ত হইলে যদি এই রাজ্য অন্যকোন ভূপতির হস্তগত হয়। তিনি এই বৃহ্মবৃত্তি লোপ না করিলে আমি তাহার দাসানুদাস হইব।”[২]
বর্তমান অবস্থা

বর্তমানে ধর্মসাগরের আয়তন ২৩:১৮ একর। এটির পূর্বে কুমিল্লা স্টেডিয়াম ও কুমিল্লা জিলা স্কুল, উত্তরাংশে সিটি কর্পোরেশনের উদ্যান ও জেলা প্রশাসকের কার্যালয় অবস্থিত। কুমিল্লার শহরবাসীর নিকট এই দীঘিটি একটি বিনোদনকেন্দ্র হিসেবে বিবেচিত হয়ে থাকে। এখানে অবকাশ উদযাপনের নিমিত্ত প্রতিদিন বিপুল জন সমাগম হয়ে থাকে। এছাড়া সারাদেশেই ধর্মসাগরের প্রসিদ্ধি রয়েছে।
ধর্মসাগরের উত্তর কোণে রয়েছে রাণীর কুঠির, পৌরপার্ক। পূর্ব দিকে কুমিল্লা স্টেডিয়াম আর পশ্চিম পাড়ে বসার ব্যবস্থা আছে। স্থানীয় অধিবাসী ছাড়াও পর্যটকের আগমন ঘটে। দিঘিপাড়ের সবুজ বড় বড় গাছের সারি ধর্মসাগরকে দিয়েছে ভিন্ন মাত্রা। তাছাড়াও শীতকালে ধর্মসাগরে প্রচুর অতিথি পাখির আগমন ঘটে। [৩] ত্রিপুরা রাজতন্ত্র

বাংলাদেশ পল্লী উন্নয়ন একাডেমী বা বার্ড, বাংলাদেশের পল্লী উন্নয়ন ও সমবায় বিভাগের অধীনস্থ একটি স্বায়ত্বশাসিত প্রতিষ্ঠান। ১৯৫৯ সালে প্রতিষ্ঠিত এ প্রতিষ্ঠানটি পল্লী উন্নয়নের ক্ষেত্রে প্রশিক্ষণ, গবেষণা ও প্রায়োগিক গবেষণার মাধ্যমে পল্লী অঞ্চলের মানুষের আর্থ-সামাজিক উন্নয়ন তথা পল্লীর দারিদ্র্য বিমোচনে নিরলস সহায়তা করে যাচ্ছে। প্রতিষ্ঠানটি কুমিল্লা শহর থেকে ১০ কিলোমিটার পশ্চিমে কোটবাড়ীতে অবস্থিত।
বার্ড ১৯৫৯ সালের ২৭শে মে তৎকালীন সরকার কর্তৃক প্রবর্তিত বিএইড(VAID) প্রকল্প বাস্তবায়নের সাথে সম্পৃক্ত মাঠ পর্যায়ের কর্মকর্তাদের গ্রামের অবহেলিত জনমানুষের সমস্যাসহ গ্রামের সার্বিক অবস্থা সম্পর্কে ধারণা দেওয়ার লক্ষ্যে পাকিস্তান গ্রাম উন্নয়ন একাডেমী নামে প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয়। সে সময় একাডেমীর প্রতিষ্ঠাতা পরিচালক হিসেবে নেতৃত্ব দেন প্রখ্যাত পল্লী উন্নয়ন গবেষক, দার্শনিক ও সমাজসেবক ড. আখতার হামিদ খান। পরবর্তীতে বাংলাদেশের স্বাধীনতার পর এ প্রতিষ্ঠানটি বর্তমান নামে নামান্তরিত হয়।

Big ponds are known in Bangladesh as Dighi or Sagar.
It is situated in the middle of Comilla city near Comilla Mohila Mohabidhalay and Rani Kutir.
There is a park beside the pond.
The pond was dug by the Tripura’s King Dharma Manikya in (1714-1732).
Before there was an island in the middle of the Dighi. This Digi is in now Comilla Municipal Corporation.
Every year there is a Mela near Dhormo Sagor Dighi and Nouka Baich in Pohela Boishakh.
To sumup:- Chandimura mandir is one of the oldest Temple in Bangladesh.
It is at Lalmai Comilla. This Mandir has been established in 7th century by Provabati Debi,
wife of a Buddhist king Devkharag. Chandimura. It has two Mandir.
One is for Lord Shiva and another is for Goddess Chandi. It is also known as Chandi Mura Shebasram .
Temple is situated very near to Comilla-Chandpur highway in Lalmai.
