Dhosi Hill is an extinct volcano, standing alone in the North-West end of the Aravali mountain range with height varying from about 345 to 470 meters from the surrounding land and 1170 meters from the sea level; has temple, pond, fort and caves on the top and forest around it. It is part of Aravalli Mountain Range, that belongs to the Precambrian Malani igneous suite of rocks and have been dated at 732 Ma BP .The hill has all the physical features of a perfect volcanic hill with distinct crater, lava still lying on it and giving a perfect conical view from top.

Dhosi Hill - An Extinct Volcano at Haryana - Rajasthan Border - Narnaul, Mahendergarh

Dhosi village is 12 KM away from Narnaul. Narnaul is a location of all municipal corporation head offices of Mahendergarh district (Haryana). In order to reach here, first of all you need to need to reach Narnaul. If you are coming from Delhi, then you can take a train to Narnaul direct or you can reach Rewari and from Rewari, you can take a bus to Narnaul. After reaching Narnaul, you need to take autos to Dhosi. You will get autorikshas from Hero Honda chauk. It will take hardly twenty minutes to reach here. There are serpentine stairs made on the hill. As a part of my solo journey, I went to explore this place. I had a bag which had my camera, a power bank, facewash, chargers etc. Though this place has great historic significance but also a great religious significance. There are temples which are very old and every year there is fair organized by the temples. People from far off places come here to worship. The place also organize mass feast (bhandara) for the devotees. These temples date back to several hundred years. Well, it is said that Dhosi Hill is the origin place of Chyavanprash. There used to be a saint by the name Chyavan Rishi who used to live and meditate here.

धौसी हिल नारनौल से लगभग 5 किमी. की दूरी पर स्थित है।इसकी प्रसिद्धि का एक कारण यह भी है कि यहाँ वैदिक काल के ऋषि च्यवन का आश्रम भी है। ऐसा विश्वास है कि यह वही स्थान है जहाँ सर्वप्रथम च्यवनप्राश बनाया गया।यह टॉनिक आज भी लोगों में बहुत लोकप्रिय है, विशेषकर उन लोगों में जो आयुर्वेद पर विश्वास करते हैं। इसके अलावा यहाँ एक सुंदर जलाशय भी है। धौसी हिल का उल्लेख हिंदुओं के अनेक पवित्र ग्रंथों जैसे ब्रहमानस, महाभारत, पुराणों आदि में मिलता है। महाभारत में इस पहाड़ी की विशेषताओं जैसे तीन अलग अलग चोटियाँ, और तीन बारहमासी झरने आदि का वर्णन किया गया है।

Dhosi hill is the place where sage Chawan lived and make Chawanspras.

Ride to a Volcano | Dhosi Hill | Motovlog

A ride to an offbeat destination was much required. So I decided to go to this place. Standing at 3840 ft, Dhosi Hill was once an active volcano.

The shape of the hill makes it quite evident. A hike to the top will take around 2 hours if done with a few breaks, exploring the Chyavan Rishi Ashram will take another 45 minutes or so. The way down is easy. The breathtaking view from the hill makes it worth visiting.

Started at 5:30 in the morning and reached home by 9 PM, covering a total distance of 375 km. Fuel efficiency was around 33 km/L.

दोस्तों हमारे चैनल पर आपका एक बार फिर से स्वागत है इस वीडियो में, मैं आपको नारनौल के बीरबल का छत्ता के बारे में बताने वाला हूं।

नारनौल एक ऐतिहासिक शहर है जो हरियाणा के महेंद्रगढ़ जिले में स्थित है। इस शहर का उल्लेख महाभारत में किया गया है। ऐसा विश्वास है कि यह बीरबल का जन्म स्थान है। जिन्हें अकबर के दरबार के नवरत्नों में गिना जाता है। छत्ता राय बाल मुकुंद दास एक बड़ा महल है। जिसका निर्माण राय बालमुकुंद दास ने करवाया था राय बालमुकुंद दास शहर का एक बहुत बड़ा सेठ माना जाता था। जो मुगल बादशाह शाहजहां के शासनकाल में दीवान थे। इस बिरबल छत्ते का निर्माण 16 वी शताब्दी में किया गया था। पांच मंजिलों पर बने हुए इस महल में कई हाल और गुंबद है। आंतरिक कक्ष और दीवाने खास की फश॔ तथा सतंभ संगमरमर के बने हुए हैं। प्राचीन समय में की गई कलाकृतियां आज भी वैसी ही बनी हुई है। प्राचीन समय में अकबर और बीरबल यहां ठहरते थे। उस दौर के लोग यहां आराम फरमाते थे। इसे सराय के रूप में जाना जाता था। बीरबल के छत्ते का गौरवमय इतिहास रहा है। यह बीरबल का छत्ता के नाम से मशहूर है बताया जाता है कि बीरबल के छत्ते के अंदर चारों तरफ सुरंग है। इस महल में भूमिगत कक्ष है। जो इस प्रकार बने हैं कि प्रकाश तीन परतों तक पहुंचता है। आज भी लकड़ियों के पिलर ज्यों के त्यों बने हुए हैं।

इस महल में एक सुरंग भी है। जो सीधे दिल्ली,जयपुर,महेंद्रगढ़ और दोषी तक जाती है। कुछ लोगों का मानना है कि इमारत के नीचे सुरंगे बनी हुई है। इसके अंदर गैस बनी हुई है। इस सुरंग की जानकारी लेने के लिए एक बारात अंदर गई थी जो फिर वापस नहीं आई। इसलिए इसके अंदर कोई जाता ही नहीं है। किसी जमाने में इस आलीशान वास्तुकला की चर्चा पुरजोर हुआ करती थी। इसमें कई सभागार कमरो और मंडपो का निर्माण किया गया था। आज यह इमारत खंडहर के रूप में तब्दील हो चुकी है। इसके गौरवमय इतिहास की कहानी सुनकर दूर-दूर से लोग इसे देखने आते हैं। इस इमारत को पुरातत्व विभाग ने अपने अधीन कर लिया है। इस इमारत के ऊपर से देखने पर नारनौल शहर का सुंदर दृश्य दिखता है।
