SUGAR BEACH, DIAMOND FALLS, & SULPHUR SPRINGS VOLCANO | ST LUCIA TRAVEL VLOG
The final vlog in my St Lucia travel series. We visited Sugar Beach, Diamond Falls, Sulphur Springs volcano, and Piton Falls - whilst staying at luxury resort, Ladera.
------------
I'm Chloë. I live in London, UK, with my three boys, aged six and under, and my boyfriend, Sam. And my absolute favourite thing in the world is documenting our family story through words, videos, and photos.
I started my blog when my firstborn was a baby. I was 25, and my whole world had changed with an unplanned pregnancy. I felt lonely and bored and was hoping a blog might help connect me with like-minded parents whilst also giving me a much needed creative focus.
Our sudden ascent into parenthood was messy, life with kids is messy, and so is the state of my head at the best of times- hence Sorry About The Mess.
Things are much more settled in our life now. I've gone on to have two more children, and you'll mainly find me chatting about house renovations (we bought a fixer-upper), my motherhood experience so far, and plans for our upcoming wedding!
As well as blogging and vlogging, you can find me chatting away daily on Instagram.
The digital record, that's for me, really. So I'll be able to look back and recall every fibre of the happy moments, the everyday moments, and the big life events that make up our family story.

The Warm Baths St Lucia, September 26, 2017
We finally found the Warm Baths... aka Piton Falls and Mineral Baths near Sugar Beach on St. Lucia. A short hike takes you down into the ravine at the pools near the bottom. Hot/warm water comes from the Soufriere volcano and is caught here for a nice relaxing bath. The guides bring coca beans, fruit and coconuts for you to taste. It's a very inexpensive way to end a long day of exploring.

ST. LUCIA VOLCANO MUD BATH EXPERIENCE
Sulphur Springs St Lucia is a volcano that has been visited by some of the most influencial people in the world: Richard Branson, Oprah, and many international singers. A visit to St Lucia is already memorable and enjoyable, but this tour makes a huge difference in how you remember the island.
The Soufrier Volcano (Sulphur Springs) last errupted in the 1700's - over 200 years! It originated from a weak spot in the crust of a collapsed volcanic crater, and is considered to be a dormant volcano - unlike the active Soufrier Hills Volcano in the island of Montserrat. One of the best features of the volcano is the ability to dive into the mud baths.
The mud baths at Sulphur Springs attract people from all over the world because it detoxifies the body and helps heal sun burns, eczema, arthritis, sore joints, and more.

Sulphur Springs and Waterfalls in St Lucia
We went on a little adventure in St Lucia. HERES SOME FOOTAGE
Sulphur Springs Mudbath St Lucia
Short video of the mudbath area at Sulphur Springs, in Soufriere St Lucia. The stream is a mixture of spring water from higher up, ground water and seawater that has seeped into the geothermal field, creating steam vents, boiling springs, bubbling mudpots and the occasional geyser. The 41C water in the Black Pool is rich with iron sulphate and other volcanic minerals, providing therapeutic benefits such as relief from dermatitis, rheumatism and minor aches and pains. Upon discovery by the French in the mid 1700s, the waters were analyzed and found to have the same therapeutic properties as famous baths in France and Germany. The mud washes off easily - it naturally exfoliates leaving your skin feeling very soft. It feels a little strange as the mud dries on your body but you leave feeling very relaxed and rejuvenated. It's good, dirty fun!
