The majority of journalists around the world have chosen to develop their subject on controversial and sensational themes: violence, war, crime. But all these facts represent only 1% of our world and its inhabitants, forgetting the remaining 99% of which we never speak.
I chose to visit every country on the planet and film them to present them in High Definition format but in a raw way, without music, without comment. Simply, reality in all its truth. Thus, you will be able to make your own idea of the world in which you live.
Currently, I have already visited nearly 170 countries and my world tour continues thanks to you who follow me.

Belgium: Bruges and Brussels
Rick Steves' Europe Travel Guide | We start in Bruges to check into a medieval hospital, savor the exquisite art of Memling, climb a bell tower to get up close and fortissimo at a carillon concert, and sample fresh frites and the world's tastiest chocolate. Then we ride the train to Brussels, where we stroll Europe's finest square, revel in Bruegels' country scenes and Magritte's surreal dreamscapes, then pay a visit to the bustling hub of European democracy.

Bruges City Hall & Museum
The Bruges town hall was built in 1376, which makes it one of the oldest town halls in the Low Countries. The city has been ruled from here for over 700 years.
The gothic hall is a work of art in itself, with its splendid 19th century murals and a colourful vaulted ceiling. The painted figures depict Bruges' glorious past. The theme 'citizens and government' sheds light on the eternal power struggle between the city government, the sovereigns, and the people of Bruges.

Huidenvettersplein, Bruges
If you're on the 'Huidevettersplein' take a close look to the surrounding houses. You can see the guildhall of the 'Huidevetters'. The 'huidenvetters' are the leather workers or tanners. A powerful guild , the hall dates back from 1630. In the center of the square you can spot a pedestal , pillar. On top there are two little lions holding the coat of arms of the guild.
One of the most photographed spots in Bruges is the Rozenhoedkaai, just around the corner. If you were allowed to take only one snapshot while in Bruges, here is the spot to take it!
The Quai of the Rosary (Rozenhoedkaai), is a starting point for many boattrips through Bruges.
Christmas markets in Bruges - full day out. Shore excursion P&O
We booked the full day in Bruges self guided tour for £37pp. The coach took us 30 minutes from the cruise port to the coach car park. From there was a 30 minute walk into the Markt of Bruges.
On the way to the Markt we visited Minnewaterpark and Home Sweet Home (chocolate store) which was a lovely shop with plenty of chocolate items.
We then stopped in a traditional cafe for hot chocolate and a waffle!
after visiting the Markt, we walked towards Jan Van Eyckplein, looking in the Chocolate Story museum and going in the diamond museum.

Travel Bug Robert - Bruges Friet Museum
In this Travel Bug Robert episode, Robert travels to the Friet Museum in Bruges. For all those non-Dutch speakers, Friet means fry. But don't dare call it a French fry. Those golden taters came from Belgium, not France. The museum takes you through the history of the potato, and there is a surprising amount to learn. For instance, at one point in history, potatoes were considered to increase debauchery in people. Crazy. A trip here wouldn't be complete without tasting some delicious fries. After all, book learnin' can only teach one so much about food. At some point, it's time to eat.

Zeebrugge Raid - 1918: Headquarters of Admiral Ludwig von Schroder, Bruges
This is the Provincial Court in the centre of Bruges. It was the headquarters of Admiral Ludwig von Schroder during World War One, where he coordinated the defences along the Belgian coast and the operations of the German submarines and torpedo boats of the Flanders Flotilla based at Bruges. The British prisoners captured on the Mole during the Zeebrugge Raid were also brought here for interrogation on 23rd April 1918.
