Quick flyover Dicky Beach at Caloundra QLD Australia Sunshine Coast. Absolutely perfect weather here today with very little wind and a lovely temperature. At the start of the flight I had an aborted takeoff due to the instability of the drone that I placed on the hill. No damage and all I had to do was clean off the blades with a KFC wipe. Shot on DJI Phantom 4 drone at 4K.
Caloundra beach - Sunshine Coast

I sat at Dicky beach and sent the Mavic out over the nearby reef to watch a few Surfing and then sent it to Moffat Beach to see a few others and in between some magic views of Caloundra and Dicky Beach area.

Hangin' out at Dicky's
The Surf today at this location was brilliant. Beautiful blue clear pristine waters of the Sunshine Coast. Great size waves with 4 plus foot on the sets and a dangerous beach break that you had to be aware and prepared for if you rode all the way in. I had some top rides, left and rights and pure glass.
There were no drop ins, the group I surf with, we all share our waves with each other and what may seem like a drop in, is not and is more than welcomed by us for the fun of the ride. Its always a good laugh and great fun.

Bream and Dart Surf Fishing at Dicky Beach, Sunshine Coast
It’s been a while since I have been able to do some filming. But it’s great to finally upload a video. We went to Dicky Beach on the Sunshine Coast to do some surf beach fishing. I love beach fishing and the perfect conditions complemented well. It’s great to get your feet wet and the descent fish you are usually able to catch. Today was no exception. The bites started slow with the first initial casts. However, the bite picked up and good fish were caught.

Dicky Beach from Sea
Dicky Beach is a suburb in Caloundra, on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia. Of the same name and located within the suburb is Dicky Beach, which is one of the Caloundra beaches.
The area was named after the iron steamboat, the SS Dicky, which ran aground during heavy seas in 1893. It was re-floated, but again, heavy seas turned the ship about and back onto the sand where it remains to this day. Dicky Beach remains the only recreational beach in the world to be named after a shipwreck.
Dicky Beach is a patrolled beach, and is home to the Dicky Beach Surf Life Saving Club. It has been awarded numerous awards, including the 'DHL Queensland Surf Life Saving Club of the Year' in 2009.
