Explore Dieng Plateau | 30-31 Desember 2017 @livelyrutasty
Serunya bisa explore dataran tinggi Dieng yang terletak di provinsi Jawa Tengah dan lebih tepatnya di daerah Wonosobo dan Banjarnegara.
Jadi Dieng ini dataran tinggi bekas letusan gunung prau dan tentunya banyak sekali tempat yang bisa diexplore di sini. Cocok banget buat jadi tempat wisata yang cukup berbau adventure dan pergi bersama keluarga. Budget juga murah dan kalau bisa bawa kendaraan sendiri lebih enak untuk mobilitas di sana.
Kalau soal suhu ya pasti dingin tapi rasanya kalau dibandingin sama Bromo, mungkin di Dieng tidak terlalu dingin. Tapi tetep aja dingin. Hahahaha.. Cari makan juga gampang banget. Secara Dieng ini adalah tempat yang sudah ter-explore sejak lama jadi sudah banyak umat manusia yang bertebaran di sedut-sudutnya.
Akhirnya bisa upload video lagi setelah sekian lama!! Nunggak 2 bulan, ini upload bulan Maret, videonya masih happy new year aja. Wkwkwkwk.. Semoga bisa menghibur dan menjadi sumber informasi buat teman-teman ya...!

Sangat jarang ditemukan di Indonesia dimana satu wilayah terbagi menjadi dua wilayah Administratif seperti Dieng, dimana bagian wilayah barat ( Dieng Kulon ) Masuk Wilayah Kabupaten Wonosobo, dan Sebelah Timur masuk Kabupaten Banjarnegara.
Kondisi alam Pegunungan Dieng dengan tanahnya yang subur menjadikan sektor pertanian sebagai Pencaharian utama masyarakat dataran Tinggi Dieng. Kami short trip ke Dieng, Jawa Tengah, Indonesia. Part 2 tentang perjalanan kami dari Wonosobo ke Dataran Dieng dengan menaiki skuter. Di sebelah petang kami melawat Candi Arjuna.

The Dieng Plateau in Java Island, Indonesia, is THE place to visit if you're interested in active volcanic craters, beautiful multi-coloured lakes, ancient Hindu temples or just wanting to escape the heat of lowland Indonesia.
The word Dieng comes from Di Hyang, which means 'Abode of the Gods'. This marshy upland plateau (2000m above sea level) is fascinating to explore and features many fascinating attractions for travellers.
Dieng is famous for its active volcanic craters, which emit thick clouds steam and sulphurous fumes into the air. You must not miss the Sikidang Crater or the Sileri Crater as these two are awesome.
Dieng is also famous for its ancient hindu temples which originate form the Kalingga Kingdom and date back to the 7th century. The best place to see these is at the Arjuna Hindu Temple Complex where you can see several temples in one site , although there are a few more scattered around the area.
The multicoloured Telaga Warna or 'Coloured Lake' can present a variety of different colours including yellow, green, turquoise, blue and other colours, depending on the weather conditions and sulphur content. You can climb to viewpoints above the lake for extraordinary views and wonderful photographs.
Dieng Plateau is also famous for agriculture and a lot of potatoes, cabbages, eggplants and other vegetables are grown here.
Some native children, born in the Dieng Plateau region have a mysterious condition in which their hair naturally grows in a matted or tangled manner and the tangles cannot be removed with a comb. We didn't get to meet any such children unfortunately.
Locations in the video from the Dieng Plateau include: Telaga Warna (coloured lake), Arjuna Hindu Temple Complex, Sikidang Crater, Sileri Crater, Chandradimuka Crater, Nila Lake and Sumur Jalatunda (100m deep hole filled with water).

Dieng Plateau is a marshy plateau that forms the floor of a caldera complex on the Dieng Volcanic Complex near Wonosobo, Central Java, Indonesia. Referred to as Dieng by Indonesians, it sits at 2,000 metres above sea level, far from major population centres. The name Dieng comes from Di Hyang which means Abode of the Gods.
The Plateau is the location eight small Hindu temples from the Kalingga Kingdom. It is unclear when they were built, estimated to range from mid 7th century to end of 8th century AD; they are the oldest known standing stone structures in Java. They are originally thought to have numbered 400 but only eight remain. The temples are now believed to have been named after the heroes of the Hindu epic Mahabharata.
There are also some lake and waterfall in Dieng Plateau area.
