Road Accident in Digboi, 4 dead, Several Injured
In a tragic incident, 4 people died after a severe head in collision between a coal laden truck and a passenger carrying vehicle (Magic) bearing registration number AS 23 CC 3431 on Sunday evening.
Soon after the incident, the truck driver (AS 01JC 2935) escaped from the spot.
All the injured passengers were shifted to Assam Medical College in Dibrugarh.
On the other hand, the bodies of the deceased were sent to Margherita Civil Hospital

On the way Back from Digboi To Dirai garden (Rajib had a tough time driving his Maruti Zen through the dense Fog, at times visibility was just 1 to 2 Feets only).... (This part is the journey from Tinsukia To Dibrugarh)... Hot air blower had to be kept on all throughout...it was shivering cold outside...
Reached Dirai at 12:40 AM but the journey was a memorable one...

A ride in Buri Dehing River during floods at Margherita
Burhi Dehing is a large tributary, about 211 kilometres long of the Brahmaputra River in Assam India. The river originates at Eastern Himalayas (the Patkai Hills) in Arunachal Pradesh and flows through Tinsukia and Dibrugarh Districts of Assam to its confluence with the Brahmaputra at Dihingmukh. Its watershed covers about 6,000 square kilometres . This majestic river has created number of oxbow lakes in the area.
The Joy-Dihing Rainforest, numerous petroleum fields, wet-paddy fields, bamboo orchards and tea gardens provide a unique landscape along its course. Ledo, Margherita, Digboi, Duliajan and Naharkatia are the small towns in its valley. It is one of the most important contributors to the Brahmaputra River. The plains of the Dihing Valley has a rich variety of flora and fauna as well as hidden in its hearts is the rich history of industrialization of this whole region.

I was last night at Tinsukiya railway station and today i aim to go border of India and Myanmar through Arunachal side is called Pansu Pass, so first i took train from Digboi railway station to Ledo railway station then took one Auto upto Jagon then took many HitchHike and reached at India's last village Nampong
