The Seven Star Crags are located at the fringe of Zhaoqing City, Guangdong, China. They adjoin the Star Lake and form one of the most scenic locations in the province. The limestone crags are naturally arranged in the same formation as the seven stars of the Big Dipper constellation. Legend has it that the pillars of limestone grew from stars that fell from the skies. There are a number of caves in this 8 square kilometers area and some contain underground rivers that are large enough to navigate by boat. The Star Lake has been designated a national park.
Numerous sculptures of Buddhism and Taoizm idols are placed around the Star Lake. There is also a reserve for migratory birds within reach by boat ride.
It is often described as the Number One Wonder in South China. The picturesque landscape wins it the reputation of Owning both limestone peaks in Guilin and the water of West Lake in Hangzhou. The lakeside Crags overgrown on their southern sides with dense evergreen sub-tropical plants are typical of the South China landscape. The Seven-Star Crags is famous for its lush mountain, exquisite waters, perilous cliffs and fascinating caves.

A long peaceful walk all within the city with crags to climb, lakes to cross and caves to discover. The Seven Star Crags has beautifully manicured gardens, Buddhist & Taoist idols, classical bridges and trees that grow out of the water.
The ticket to the park costs 78 Yuan and be bought at one of the three entrances. The easiest way to get in is by walking from Paifang square between Xinghu West Road and Xinghu Avenue. No need for a guide for this one as there are plenty of maps around the park to help you find your way.

Dinghu Mountain and Lake (Chinese: 鼎湖山) is located in Dinghu District, 18 km to the east of Zhaoqing City, in the Dayunwu Mountain Range in Guangdong Province of southern China. It is one of the four famous mountains - Danxia, Dinghu, Xiqiao and Luofu in Guangdong province.

광동성(广東省) 광주(广州)에서 기차나 차로 2시간 거리에 있은 조경(肇庆)은 칠성암(七星岩)과 정호산(鼎湖山)이 유명한 곳이다. 조경(肇庆)은 광동성(广東省)의 계림(桂林)이라 불리는 정도로 아름다운데 도시 한 가운데에 있는 엄청난 크기의 호수와, 그 호수 안의 7개의 돌산, 호수 안의 호수가 어울어진 친환경적인 도시다. 이 곳 칠성암(七星岩)을 다 둘러보려면 때론 걷기도 하고 때론 자전거를 타기도 하고 때론 배를 타기도 해야 다 둘러볼 수 있을 정도로 무지 넓다. 또한 가까운 거리의 정호산(鼎湖山)은 중국 최초의 국제 생물권 보호구인데 약 400여년 동안 자란 아열대 계절풍 활엽수림을 보존하고 있어 중국 및 해외 과학자들은 이 지역을 ‘북회귀선 사막지대의 오아시스“라고 부른다. 맑은 물과 폭포 그리고 많은 계곡을 품고 있으며 산속 호수인 천호(天湖)에서 배를 타는 것도 이 곳 정호산(鼎湖山)의 매력을 맘껏 느낄 수 있다. 조경(肇庆)에 3~4일 머무는 동안 해를 볼 수가 없어 아쉬웠는데 이곳은 대체로 맑은 날을 많이 볼 수가 없다고 한다.
