Gortin Forest Park, Omagh, Co Tyrone, MTB überday - Sunday 5th January 1997: The first Sunday of 1997 and over 50 of Northern Irelands top downhill racers descended upon the tranquil forest park of Gortin Glen. überdog had arranged for a small number of riders to sample this purpose-built mountain bike course to test the feasibility of holding a race meeting there but word spreads fast in the hard, mad world of the downhill racer, over £50,000 worth of top downhill machinery arrived plus the mad tictac men that bike-wrestle them so gracefully!!
