Massive 1000lb Tiger Shark caught while Bottom Fishing in the Bahamas - 4K
While I was bottom fishing in the Bahamas, I hooked a massive tiger shark on my Shimano Tiagra 130. We estimated the size of this tiger shark to be 14ft in length and weigh around 1000lbs. I was fishing out of Old Bahama Bay Resort in the Bahamas. We started the day deep dropping directly out front of Old Bahama Bay Resort. We caught a yelloweye snapper on our electric reel, then we switched gears and traveled north to go wahoo fishing. The ocean was very rough, too rough for wahoo, so we decided to head into the shallow water and try bottom fishing. I hooked a reef shark while bottom fishing and out of nowhere a massive tiger shark swims to the boat and eats the reef shark on the end of my line. It was unbelievable!

Bow Fishing for Tuna Fish
On this episode of BlacktipH, I go bow fishing for the false albacore tuna fish species with my buddies Mike and Bud Fisher on our new Tideline Fishing boat. We purchased over $400 worth of chum to attract the bonito to our boat. There were hundreds of bonito under the boat!! We found out very quickly how hard they were to shoot with the bow. These fish were moving incredibly fast (over 30mph)! Along with the bonitos were blue runners, rainbow runners and remoras. Mike got the first and only bonito of the day using the bow, while Bud and I got a few blue runners and remora. Mike ended the day catching the biggest fish of his life, a monster 400+lb bull shark.

Monster Sharks caught Fishing from the Beach - 4K
I was on the phone talking to my buddy Dan, who was fishing on the beach and during our conversation, he hooked up to a monster shark! I drove down to the beach to help Dan and his crew catch and release the monster shark. It turned out to be a 13ft great hammerhead shark. The following day around the same time, Dan gives me a call to let me know that Mark is hooked up to another giant shark!

MONSTER Fish Caught from the Beach
In this episode of BlacktipH, I go fishing for giant tarpon from the beach during the annual mullet run with a fan. We were using the drone to deploy live mullet into the ocean and then strategically place the fish near a large predator. In the first several hours, Trevor had several tarpon and jacks eat his mullet off the drone. We lost every fish we hooked. The mullet schools had disappeared, the winds were increasing, and we were about to give up. While walking back to the car, I noticed another large school of mullet. I yelled, This is it! I deployed the drone and within a few minutes, I was hooked up to a giant tarpon! This giant fish fought very hard, making several hard runs and jumping almost entirely out of the water. After a 30-minute fight, I grabbed the fish and brought it to the beach. This tarpon was definitely over 100lbs; it was a giant!

Found Some GIANTS in Tough Fishing Conditions:
Catching Fish that can Fly!!
In this video, I go fishing for flying fish and other species with my good buddy Carl from Slob City Charters off the coast of Florida. Seriously, we were fishing for fish that can fly! Once we got to the fishing spot, we set up our drift, deployed the chum bag and started fishing. Within less than an hour, I spotted the first flying fish in the chum slick. I tossed a small piece of bonito for bait, and within seconds, I was hooked up to the first flying fish of the day. After catching the first flying fish, it was game on! The flying fish bite was epic! We caught seven in total. While I was fishing for flying fish, Carl caught several cobia and a few mutton snappers. After finding our bait, we set up another drift and used the flying fish for bait to catch wahoo, sailfish, and dolphin. While kite fishing, a giant hammerhead shark swam into the spread and tried to eat our kite baits. As the hammerhead shark was trying to eat our kite baits, one of the flying fish we were using for bait got hit by a dolphin. Carl reeled in the dolphin while I was trying to hook the hammerhead shark. We ended the day catching a small reef shark before heading in. It's also a blast catching flying fish and using them for bait to work our way up the food chain.

Using Seaweed as Bait to Catch Tropical Fish - ft. The Fish Whisperer
I have always seen parrotfish (a tropical fish species) swimming along the rocks, but I never figured out how to catch them. Kyle aka The Fish Whisperer and I discovered that the Parrotfish liked eating seaweed. We found some seaweed and tried using it for bait. To our surprise, the parrotfish aggressively ate the seaweed. We ended up catching around 30 parrotfish, it was unbelievable!

I was flying my drone and found a monster hammerhead shark chasing a blacktip shark, trying to eat it. We hooked a blacktip shark and moments later, a massive hammerhead shark swam by the boat and proceeded to eat the blacktip shark that we hooked. I managed to capture the entire feeding behavior with my drone! Greg fought the shark for nearly an hour with heavy tackle. The size of this shark was massive, larger than we imagined! The overall length of the shark was 175 inches (14ft and 7 inches), literary the largest hammerhead shark I've ever seen! Myself, Greg and Ryan decided to jump in the water with the shark before the release. This was such an incredible experience! Greg caught and released one of the largest hammerhead sharks ever on rod and reel!

Using Electricity to Catch Massive Fish:
EPIC Offshore Fishing Adventure in the Middle Grounds
I headed 130 miles off the coast of Florida with Capt. Blake to a special place called the Middle Grounds with one goal: catch as many fish as possible! Our trip was nothing short of epic! At our first location, we were catching mangrove snappers on the surface (I never knew that mangrove snappers would feed on the surface in 80ft of water). Once we caught enough snappers, we then moved another 60 miles offshore to search for some groupers. Blake and I started with vertical jigs and then moved to live bait. We caught giant almaco jacks, amberjacks, monster red snappers and some really nice gag groupers. We stayed offshore overnight and grilled some steaks. Blake and I had a blast catching squid with a dip net while we waited for the next bite. In the morning, we packed up and moved to another location where there was a large population of red snappers. It didn't take long for us to catch our two-day limit of red snappers. Overall, we caught over 100 fish and has an epic time in the Middle Grounds!

Beach Shark Fishing Struggle, Finally Caught a Break!
After many weeks of terrible weather and massive waves, we finally caught a break and were able to go fishing for sharks from the beach. Josh has been very frustrated with the weather. October and November are some of the best months to go shark fishing from the beach in Florida. Jason from Southern Fin Apparel joined Josh on this shark fishing conquest. We were using finger mullet to catch our shark bait (ladyfish, bluefish, and etc…).

Giant Hammerhead Sharks Hunting Blacktip Sharks 2
Every year massive hammerhead sharks migrate to the beaches of Florida to hunt and eat 6ft blacktip sharks. The average size of these blacktip sharks is 6ft and around 80lbs. The hammerhead sharks are much larger, measuring over 14ft in length and weighing more than 1000lbs. This year I filmed some incredible drone footage of hammerhead sharks hunting and eating blacktip sharks!

Using New Drone Technology to Catch Fish:
Incredible Drone Fishing for Cobia
In this episode of BlacktipH, we use the drone to go fishing for cobia in Virginia Beach. Virginia has an incredible cobia fishery, and the drone helps to find these fish. Our cobia fishing adventure stretched two days, and we got to experience an incredible fishing opportunity called Wake City. Wake City fishing is when the water is super calm, and you can see the cobia waking on the surface of the ocean. We caught a bunch of cobia and filmed some incredible content with the drone. Some of the cobia were mating/ spawning, and we were lucky to capture this with the drone.

How to Catch Hidden Fishing Bait on the Beach
In this video, I am going to teach you how to catch hidden beach bait to catch more fish on the beach. The bait we are targeting is sand fleas. These little creatures roam the beaches up and down the coast of Florida. The sand fleas move throughout the surf zone and bury themselves in the sand as the tide and waves move up and down. I used a grated metal rake to catch these creatures. They make great bait for many different species of fish, especially for pompano!

Catching Colorful Fish and a Giant Shark:
Fishing for Giant Tarpon and Kingfish
In this episode of BlacktipH, I go fishing off the coast of Florida for tarpon, sharks, and mackerel with my good buddy Glynn Austin from Going Coastal Charters. Our first bite of the day was a smaller kingfish, followed up by a huge Spanish mackerel! Shortly after we got a bite on the flatline and it was a tarpon! Jarred picked up the rod and fought the fish for over thirty minutes before we were able to catch and release it. We put three more live baits behind the boat and waited for another bite. After half an hour, I hooked another tarpon, and after a ten-minute fight, he broke me off. We reset our baits to try again. Glyn hooked up next, and it was a giant tarpon! After a few insane jumps and a tough fight, Glyn landed his fish. Later in the day Glynn and I doubled up on sharks. I caught a black nose shark and Glynn had a blacktip shark. We proceed to land those fish to finish our day.

Caught a HUGE IGUANA while Canal Fishing:
Gigantic 17ft Sawfish! - ft. Chew On This, LunkersTV, Jon B & ApBassing - 4K
In this episode of BlacktipH, Josh hooks a gigantic sawfish that measured over 17ft in length and had an estimated weight of over 700lbs. This is the rarest species of fish that Josh has ever caught! This episode was filmed with Chew On This, LunkersTV, Jon B, and APBassing. Sawfish are listed as critically endangered, please follow the steps below if you ever hook one.

► WHAT TO DO IF YOU HOOK A SAWFISH
1. The safety of the angler comes first
2. Keep the sawfish in the water at all times.
3. Document an estimated length of the fish.
4. Look for any tags or scars that may be on the fish.
5. Get the GPS coordinates of the location where you hooked the fish.
6. Always try to remove the hook, but if you are concerned about your safety, you should cut the line as close to the hook as possible
7. Anglers are permitted to take a photo of the sawfish, but it must remain in the water at all times.
8. The top of the sawfish head must remain in the water at all times. Sawfish take in water through their spiracles which are located on the top of the head.
9. Call the sawfish hotline after you released the fish.
10. Email all data to Sawfish@MyFWC.com and include the following:
Name, Date of encounter and Email address
11. You are permitted to post a sawfish photo online, but it must meet the sawfish handling requirements.

Monster Goliath Groupers with NFL Linebacker Sam Barrington - 4K
In this episode of BlacktipH, Josh is joined once again by NFL star linebacker Sam Barrington from the Green Bay Packers to go fishing for monster goliath groupers off the coast of Florida. We started off the day catching bonito (false albacore) for bait. After catching half a dozen albies for bait, Sam was ready to start goliath grouper fishing. Sam hooked up to his first goliath grouper and immediately got yanked forward. After an intense short fight, Sam Barrington landed his first goliath grouper. The day ended with Sam catching four goliath groupers. Sam's friends Johan and Richard both caught a goliath grouper, adding up a total of six goliath groupers for the day.

In this VLOG, Josh goes fishing offshore with Eric from Hushin. The day started off catching bait. All of a sudden, we were surrounded by a huge school of barracuda. The barracuda were attacking our sabiki rigs. Josh lost his mind and could only think about catching one of these giant barracudas!

Cooktown, North Queensland
Cooktown is a town and locality in the Shire of Cook, Queensland, Australia. Cooktown is located about 2,000 kilometres north of Brisbane and 328 kilometres north of Cairns, by road. Cooktown is about 857 kilometres south of Cape York by road. At the time of the 2016 census, Cooktown had a population of 2,631.
Cooktown, on the eastern coast of Cape York Peninsula, is 1600 km north of Brisbane and 650 km from Torres Strait. Cooktown grew rapidly as the nearest port for the Palmer River gold rush in the 1870s. By the 1880s, its population peak, one-fifth of its residents were Chinese. The town declined rapidly in the first two decades of the twentieth century and by the 1950s it was almost a ghost town. Tourism gradually came to its rescue.
