BC Family Battles Government Over Secret Land Seizure & SNC Lavalin Debacle
Kelowna BC family 9.5 year “David versus Goliath” battle with BC government secret seizure of their private lands, makes a very public plea for help. For the last 3 years, the government’s lawyers have been hiding documents that prove their case, but they finally got them through Freedom of Information (FOI) but the proof means nothing, if they force your family on the street, by burying you in debt trying to hold them accountable. Yes, SNC Lavalin designed this debacle, what did they know and when did they know it? Maybe you know someone who can help. Please share this on all your social media, contact your local elected officials, contact the BC Premier (John Horgan) and/or the BC Attorney General (David Eby) and/or the BC Minister of Transportation (Claire Trevena) share this everywhere! Someone has to be able to right this wrong! This isn’t the Canada we know!

Learn to Fish: Inspiring New Anglers in B.C.
The Freshwater Fisheries Society of BC's Learn to Fish program teaches over 30,000 people per year the basics of how, when, and where to catch fish in fresh water. The Society developed the program in 2006 in response to the documented sharp decline in angler participation throughout the late 1990s and early 2000s.
Through our outreach programs, the Freshwater Fisheries Society of BC is working to remove barriers, and to engage and inspire a whole new generation of anglers to take up fishing. Thanks to the generous support of our sponsors, funders, and partners, we’re able to deliver most of these programs to new anglers for free. Financial support is provided by the Habitat Conservation Trust Foundation, Columbia Basin Trust, Luhr Jensen, Ram Trucks, Yamaha Motor Canada, and Teck Highland Valley Copper.
Programs are held at our Visitor Centres in Abbotsford, Clearwater and Fort Steele (near Cranbrook), and at lakes in municipal and provincial parks throughout the Lower Mainland, southern Vancouver Island, Cariboo, Kootenays and Thompson-Okanagan. Visit the Events calendar on our website to find a program near you:

Hiking Up The Cliffside Caves & McKee Peak, Abbotsford BC
Hiked up the Cliffside Caves & McKee Peak to checkout the bird's eye view of the Tulip Festival in Abbotsford BC. If you hiking up to caves & peak only is 5.5 km round-trip, elevation gain of 160 meters (468 meters highest point), average time 1.5 hours, rated as moderate. You can make it longer hike. There are some many trails up this area that you can make it a longer hike 10, 15 or 20 km. These trails are share with mountain bikers. Very happy with the views. Highly recommended.
