Dive Friends Bonaire Clean Up Dive October 2018
With the help of 101 amazing volunteers, Dive Friends Bonaire cleaned up along the harbourfront in the center of Kralendijk; in effort to combat trash created by the Bonaire Regatta . In this busy boating area, we collected 1,647 items of trash(roughly 510 kg), 403 glass bottles, and approximately 328 meters of fishing line. Join us in the next Clean Up Dive on January 29th, 2019!

Cleanup Dive April 2012 by Dive Friends Bonaire
Dive Friends Bonaire Bonaire organizes a quarterly Bonaire Underwater Clean Up Dive. On each Clean Up Dive, a different area of Bonaire's coastal reefs or beaches is selected and any trash which has not become part of the reef is collected. We invite and welcome any participants who want to combine vacation with doing the right thing for their reefs!
Dive Friends provides free air and a potluck BBQ for our volunteers, but we do ask you to bring a small side dish if you come to the BBQ.

Debris Free Bonaire
Debris Free Bonaire is a new environmental program that encourages visitors to Bonaire to volunteer a small amount of their vacation time to collect plastic marine debris from Bonaire's east coast. Debris Free Bonaire empowers volunteers by providing a visual demonstration of the amount of debris collectively removed from the environment. We invite all visitors to Bonaire to participate.
