A Diving Holiday in Mauritius - GoPro Hero 2 HD
A week in Mauritius in December 2012. We had a really great time and spent a lot of it diving and traveling around the island. We dived with Dive Passion who are based at the Tropical Attitude Hotel in Trou d'aux Douce - they were really great. Diving on the east coast has some what lower visibility than the north coast but has much bigger fish due to the current. Get Ben from Dive Passion to take you to The Pass which is a drift dive where we saw loads of big fish like eagle rays and barracudas. What a great holiday!!

The warm clear waters that can exceed 30 meters visibility, the variety of dive sites and the underwater terrain is for all level divers, and provide you with ideal conditions to get your qualification course or upgrade the one you already have with some real adventure dives!
Even though Belle Mare is an evergreen scuba diving destination, the best time for diving is November through May. The air temperature is about 25C/77F at night and 30C/86F or above during the day. The cyclone period is from December to mid-April although they are not particularly strong or destructive.
