casie villarosa - fun dive in boracay
well, not everything was unswell during the making of the boracay office and theatre. We did have fun every now and then. Fact is, I got my open water liscence from boracay. Here's a fun dive sponsored by our chairman for the staff... it was a great day to the tune of Born to be wild!
Carabao Scuba Diving Adventure - Samal Island - 10th Vlog
My very first experience with Scuba diving. To say I was blown away would be an understatement. The dive center I went to will be listed at the bottom of this description. I apologize for the editing because I am still trying to get the hang of Final Cut Pro X. The next underwater video I make will look even better as I have just received a GoPro filter for underwater filming. Anyways I spent about 45 minutes underwater with an instructor. We were located just about 300 meters north of Samal Island which is situated just south of Davao city in the Mindanao area of the Philippines. If any of you will be in the area I highly suggest visiting the staff at Carabao Dive Center. They made this trip even better than I could have imagined. Please subscribe and leave a like if you want to stay informed about future videos!!

Parasailing: is a recreational kiting activity where a person is towed behind a vehicle (usually a boat) while attached to a specially designed canopy wing that reminds one of a parachute known as parasail wing. The boat then drives off, carrying the parascender or wing and person into the air. If the boat is powerful enough, two or three people can parasail behind it at the same time. The parascender has little or no control over the parachute.
Flyfish: is an exhilarating water activity that you must try. The fly fish is being pulled by a speed boat until lifted up to a certain angle. Fun and exciting as it flies and glides into the water.
Banana boat: also known as a water sled and often referred to simply as a banana, is an inflatable recreational boat meant for towing.During the ride, the driver of the powered boat attempts to flip the banana boat upside-down by doing sharp turns.

Zorbing is generally performed on a gentle slope, but can also be done on a level surface, permitting more rider control. In the absence of hills some operators have constructed inflatable, wooden or metal ramps.

Boracay Coral Planting August 2012
The Philippines is rich in natural marine resources. However, sustaining these resources is a challenge. The Philippines Department of Science & Technology is now commencing their Boracay Island pilot project of reef restoration, the fifth such project in the country. The project involves coral nurseries on some of Boracay's shallow dive sites, plus an aquarium incubator to grow corals for transplantation. August 2012 saw dive center staff from the island attend a training day to learn techniques for coral transplantation.

I make videos of tourist spots in the Philippines, things to see, what to do, and where to stay around Puerto Galera and Boracay has long been growing into the top tourist attraction in the Philippines.
This week we dive in to talk with Victor, the owner of Victory Divers. He's been here for quite some time and has some advice he'd like to share about starting a business in the Philippines.
Victor's Plan To Successfully Start A Business In The Philippines
(Pre-Step) - Don't Bring a lot of money with you when you travel to the Philippines
1. Live in the Philippines for a few months to see if you like the lifestyle.
2. Figure out how things work. Legal and community issues can make or break your business.
3. Find people you can trust. (As a foreigner traveling to the Philippines this can be the hardest step!)
4. Only when you know you like living in the Philippines, understand the legal landscape and legal loopholes, and have found business partners you can trust, invest your money cautiously. It's easy to lose all of your money on a bad investment, so be careful.
5. Live the dream of owning a business in the Philippines!
==
Here in the Philippines, there are plenty of excellent dive spots scattered throughout the Philippine islands that scuba diving is part of every beach resort’s services. With scuba diving, you can have underwater adventures like exploring shipwrecks and interacting with marine animals!
If you're planning on opening a dive shop in the Philippines, you'll have to sort out the legal issues well before you even start thinking about filling scuba tanks. Otherwise, you'll be in a shaky situation with everyone (the government, your business partners and your neighbors) trying to steal your business from you.
Tips For Dealing With Lawyers In The Philippines
1. Don't Let Them Drag Court Cases Out - A 'Closed Case' simply means that your Filipino lawyer is now out of a job. Because of this, many people living in the Philippines discover that their court cases go on for years with no resolution. This is often because your lawyer is purposefully dragging out the legal process in order to earn more fees.
2. Bad Advice - Some people who travel in the Philippines and want to start a business hire a lawyer without realizing that this lawyer doesn't have their best interests in mind. These lawyers will sometimes give bad legal advice simply to complicate the situation and earn more legal fees.
3. Pick A Lawyer With Powerful Friends - If you pick the right lawyer, they will be friends with the judge who is presiding over your case. If your lawyer and the judge are friends, they will be able to sit down together and negotiate a decision that will close the case in your favor. This will be done 'cash in hand' and can save you years of stress at the witness stand.
4. There's no Government watchdog looking out for you. Especially if you aren't Filipino, you can't complain to anybody if your lawyer rips you off or if the court makes an unfair decision. It's the legal wild west out here, but you can buy your way out of problems if you need to. When starting a business in the Philippines, you're on your own. Ask long-term expat business owners for help, but don't trust anyone unless you've known them for a long time.
Cheers,
Sean

BORACAY SHUTDOWN #2
Boracay businesses and homeowners begin to tear down walls and portions of their residences, stores, and buildings found encroaching on roads in the island's three barangays and at the beach front of the famed White Beach. Displaced employees and workers line up for government assistance in leaving the island.

Boracay Island, Philippines 2016
This is consider our best birthday trip ever...BORACAY!!
As me and my boyfriend are having the same birthday month,we decided to celebrate our birthday together in this beautiful Phillipines island, Boracay.
The island was so beautiful with the breathtaking view of crystal clear ocean.
We are having so much memorable time there.
We had a romantic candlelight dinner beside the sea .
We went helmet diving as well.As this is our first time trying the helmet diving,we tend to be a bit nervous but then after,we get use to it and enjoyed the scenery at the bottom of the sea.
After that ,we went for the Zipline. It was so exciting as we started off at the top of the mountain then ended at the middle of the mountain and we took a cable car back to the mountain.
It is a must to go for island hopping in Boracay.
We took a private boat and then we visited crystal cove and Puka Beach which are the two most famous beach in Boracay.
Another recommended place to visit is BELLA ISA SPA.
We were welcomed by the friendly and professional staff there.
The SPA was world class and we enjoyed every second being there.
We promised ourselves that we will visit Boracay again in the future.

The tropical Philippine islands is one of the best places in the world to go scuba diving! There are a ton of scuba diving spots where you can find a diverse collection of marine animals, discover and explore numerous shipwrecks, and even go swimming with sharks!
So it’s only natural that you would want to open a scuba diving shop here in the Philippines, especially near the best beaches where tourists flock. You can offer scuba gear to anyone interest with underwater adventures, you can also offer scuba diving lessons since not everyone can go scuba diving right off the bat! A scuba diving shop is one of the better business ideas or business plan you can have here in the Philippines!
One of the main business opportunities in the Philippines for foreigners is a dive shop.
You can start a dive shop in the Philippines for about 30,000 US dollars.
That includes about 15 sets of gear, a compressor, just about everything you need. check out aquaventurewhitetip.com for the gear. Then you need a location, the most important thing, you have to be near some dive sites.
And lastly, you need a good website.
Those are the ingredients if you wanna come to live here.
You don't even need a boat. We're out on one of our boats now. We've got 6 people in the water, but you can rent one of those native fishing boats right there. They'll take you out. Most of them are set out for diving. If you want a lifestyle change, you can be living here like us.
It's just beautiful.
