Scuba Diving New Zealand - The Poor Knights - Dive Tutukaka
Amazing temperate diving in the Poor Knights Marine reserve, off Tutukaka in the Bay of Islands on New Zealand's North Island.
Fantastic Marine life and excellent visibility makes for some spectacular scuba diving. Our first experience of diving the Kelp encrusted walls of the Marine park made a spectacular view with the whole dive site moving in time to the sea. The Sea temperatures varied between 17-21 Celsius on the dive sites. 7mm wet-suits made for comfortable dives.

Tutukaka - Getting ready for scuba diving/BBQ dinner NZ
Hello we are two young professionals who have quit our jobs to travel South America!
In this video, which we filmed before we left New Zealand, we take advantage of our new PADI scuba licences and head up to Tutukaka in the North Island to go to the Poor Knights!
We get ready and drive up, have a nice meal of Vietnamese pho on the way, and finish the day off with a supermarket trip and barbeque session at our holiday park.

Went out for cray dive out Tutukaka. Only manage to get 1 legal female, the rest were too small. Saw a octopus pestering a cray that looked just undersize, so left it alone.
