LIVING IN CHIANG RAI THAILAND- Old Cars, Pottery (Doy Din Dang), Computer Repair (ADITL BTL EP8)
As Expats Living in Chiang Rai Thailand, we sometimes need to upgrade our computers and equipment. So we took Sachas laptop to Banana I.T in Chiang Rai Central Plaza to have 8 GB of RAM fitted. On our journey we noticed an old Ford Capri and Peugeot 404 rotting by the side of the road and decided to take a look. Then it was off to Doy Din Dang Pottery to check out some of the latest handmade clay pots and cups for sale before we set out to find an ever elusive Temple on the hill.

Building bridges (Art Bridge Chiang Rai): Somluk Pantiboon at TEDxChiangMai 2013
สร้างสะพานระหว่างศิลปินและชุมชน (ขัวศิลปะ) Building Bridges between Artists and Community (Art Bridge Chiang Rai) (in Thai) by Somluk Pantiboon (สมลักษณ์ ปันติบุญ) Artist, Designer (ศิลปินและนักออกแบบ)
Somluk Pantiboon is a Thai ceramic artist based in Chiang Rai who has exhibited works internationally. Somluk spent a few years as an apprentice with master potter Nakazato Tarouemon 13th at Karatsu in Kyushu, Japan, before returning to his native Chiang Rai to set up Doy Din Dang Pottery outside Chiang Rai city in 1991. Over the years at Doy Din Dang, which means red clay hill in reference to the surrounding ridges covered with red soil, he has trained nearby villagers and local students to become skillful potters or pottery workers. In 2012, together with 100 artists, he launched the Khua Silapa Project. Khua means bridge in the northern dialect, which here links artists and art to the community and society as a whole. Khua Silapa was opened in mid-2013.

CHIANG RAI BEACH, Pets And Vets -LIVING IN THAILAND VLOG-(ADITL BTL EP12)
Cost Of Living in Thailand Post:
SAY THANKS w COFFEE & CAKE:
We often cook at home but sometimes it's nice to have lunch by the water, so we check out Chiang Rai Beach, which isn't really a Beach at all. Try to order off menu and fail, so end up with fried pork and eggs. Find a funny pillow. Put Eden in a T-shirt and then discover she has cracked her nail in half and needs a trip to one of the local vets.
If our videos or blog have helped you in any way and you want to 'say thanks'. We have a little thing set up where you can say thank you with coffee and cake. All that caffeine and sugar helps us to keep making these vids for you guys ;-)

CHIANG RAI Evening Food Market - EXPAT LIVING IN THAILAND (ADITL Sights & Sounds EP2)
SAY THANKS w COFFEE & CAKE:
Living in Thailand, shopping in Chiang Rai's Local Food Market is a great way to feel immersed in the every day lives of local Thai people. Listen to and watch the real sights and sounds of a busy fruit, vegetable and meat market on a weekday evening in Chiang Rai Thailand. Many locals shop there for their groceries, but there are also many workers that quickly stop by to grab a pre-made dinner in a bag to take home to their homes and families. Chiang Rai's Food Market is on every evening by the old clock tower in Chiang Rai city.Sights & Sounds is a series of short 'fly on the wall' style videos showing our expat life in Thailand as an audio visual journey. There is no music over the video, you hear what we hear, the sights and sounds of Thailand.

BEST ROAD IN THAILAND - CHIANG RAI-NAN THAILAND VLOG (ADITL EP65)
SAY THANKS w COFFEE & CAKE: or SUPPORT OUR CHANNEL MONTHLY:
We drive THE BEST ROAD IN THAILAND! Without a doubt, in our opinion the highway 1148 from Chiang Rai to Nan is the best road trip. Taken the from famous GT Riders map, this route is very popular with bikers because of the wide and quite well maintained road surfaces with lots of twisties. But even in a boring car this journey is something special.
