Cycling The Mawddach Trail (Dolgellau to Barmouth)
Cycling from Dolgellau to Barmouth along The Mawddach Trail - a Dad and daughter day out!
A walk along the Mawddach Trail from Dolgellau to Barmouth. Much appreciated 100 subscribers. Enjoy!
I've wanted to do this walk for ages. It's good for all abilities as you have a choice of several car parks or bus stops to go from. A little windy but I wanted to do a film in more realistic conditions. I normally wait until there is that one in a hundred day where there bright sunshine and NO WIND! Really pleased though for 100 subscribers and I am going to concentrate much more on these walks as they seem to hit a chord! Check out summit or nothing YouTube page too. They've been really supportive of me and they do super stuff which is fun. Just like I do! Thank you very much for watching. Another one nearly lost via YouTube capture. B&B TAN Y GADER- Dolgellau
Here is a little video i put together ( in a short time ) of the beautiful and quirky B&B TAN Y GADER in the lovely little town of DOLGELLAU.
Tan y gader is a beautiful and quirky B&B house in the town Dolgellau, couple minutes walk from restaurants and pubs and bars and most importantly the beautiful walks that surround this town.
Jayne and mark made me feel very welcome after a long ride from the busyness of London town with a tea pot of tea and a slice of freshly home made welsh cake which was divine!
Mark told me about all the walks around after asking how long/far i wanted to go, was very easy to find your way, and any walk that you choose to do will have the beautiful views of the mountains surrounding Dolgellau. There are also cycle routes around here too, and Jayne and Mark are able to keep your bikes in the cellar in the house.
The walk of course was incredible. (find video through other channel GirlOnWheelsUK)
I came back to be refreshed with some more cake and a lovely chat with Jayne. The town offered some incredible local foods and some great wine bars too.

Barmouth to Dolgellau, The Mawddach Trail, Snowdonia - 11 May 2014
The 9.5 mile Mawddach Trail, starting at the coast at Barmouth (we journeyed to by bus) the route crosses the iconic railway bridge over the mouth of the estuary and then follows the disused railway track on the southern edge of the Mawddach estuary to the picturesque market town of Dolgellau (where we were based). When the weather stops you hitting the heights there's always somewhere to walk.

Mountain Bike Coaches Day Off
Our mountain bike coaches had a day off so they got together to go for a little test ride on their new Scott bikes.
We invited our friends at Aerialworx along to shoot the action and this amazing video is the result.

Cycling at High Speed Down Welshpool Rd, Lesmurdie
Since the frame on my Giant Trance is currently broken and getting assessed for warranty, I decided to have some fun on my commuter bike instead. Went for a ride (on a 38 degree day!!!) down Welshpool Road in Lesmurdie (Perth hills) and according to my GPS was hitting upwards of 75km/hr. Now if only I could get more aero on a mountain bike with slick tyres!
Shot on my GoPro Hero 4 Black.
