Vizag tour Day 1 Dolphin's Nose, Light House
We arrived early morning (17tn Nov 2018) at Vizag, Visakhapatnam.After check-in and refreshment we are ready to explore our Day 1 at Dolphin Nose, Light house. Our baby is just about to 2 years old so we planned light tour and sight seeing. That's why we skip Yarada beach. You people should go to Yarada beach, Dolphin's Nose (Light house) same day. Hire a car or auto is a convenient option. Dolphin's Nose (Light house) open at 3pm (Wed day closed) so plan accordingly. First go to Yarada Beach (24km from Ramkrishna beach) from here you can go to Dolphin's Nose ( 4km from here).
Pro tip: During Dolphin's Nose (Light house) visit Girls/Lady should wear Salwar/Jeans because in last staircase to climb Light House top is very straight and its like a ladder.

Yarada Beach is situated on the west coast of Bay of Bengal in Yarada, a village at a distance of 15 kilometres from Visakhapatnam. It is located near Gangavaram beach, Dolphin's Nose, and Gangavaram Port.
It's a beautiful beach for nature lovers. Waves are crashing on the rocky beach. Very serene place. It's not much crowded. You may climb the rocks beside the beach. Some youngsters were swimming, though I think it's a bit dangerous. You need your own vehicle to go there. Only food available are roasted corn and coconut water.
Yarada Beach is a must visit for nature lovers. There are hills on the three sides of the beach. On one side is the mighty Bay of Bengal. The greenery of the vegetation on the hills is a unique scene to watch in a beach. The golden sand of the beach enhances beauty.

1.Yarada Beach is situated on the west coast of Bay of Bengal in Yarada, a village at a distance of 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) from Visakhapatnam. It is located near Gangavaram beach, Dolphin's Nose, and Gangavaram Port.A scientific study of the characteristics of the sediments deposited at the beach was conducted from May 2009 to May 2010. 2.Kanaka Durga Temple on a Hill(Giri) and near the Ocean (Sagara)., thus the name Sagara Giri Kanaka Durga Temple.
There are 3 temples here : Lord Ganesha, Goddess Kanaka Durga, Goddess Kameshwari Devi.
This place can be reached by two ways., either by Boat/steamer or by road.
The temple place offers a beautiful natural view of the city vizag.
It is a part of Vizag Tourism, which much be visited.
3.Dolphin's Nose is located in Visakhapatnam between Yarada and Gangavaram Port. The hill is named as Dolphin nose because it resembles a dolphin's nose..[1]Before independence the British Army used it as a Military Camp. There is a Hindu Temple, a Church, and a Mosque on this hill. in 1804 British and French forces fought near this hill.[2] and the battle is called the Battle of Vizagapatam.A lighthouse on this hill guided ships to enter Visakhapatnam Port.[3]. recently Government of India is planning to start lighthouse tourism .
