21st Annual Dolphin Mini Golf Open
Final round, hole 7: watch the top five play
Dolphin 18 holes in 19 strokes
Try as we might to get a compilation of 18 aces, we just couldn't ace #15 (Bobbin Buoys). As a result we bring you 17 aces and 1 deuce. These were all taken over a couple of days at Dolphin Mini Golf in Boothbay, ME where the Maine State Dolphin Open is held each year. To win over ten rounds you need to get a lot of these aces!

Randy Rice Maine 18 Final Hole
Randy Rice coming down hole 18 in the final round to secure his victory at the 25h Maine State Dolphin Open, held September 8, 2018 at Dolphin Mini Golf in Boothbay, Maine.
Pat Maine Open 2010 Hole 13
In Sept 2010, Pat played the Maine State Open at Dolphin Mini Golf in Boothbay, ME, finishing 7th of 28 (and in the money). This video is of hole 13, a double decker hole (called Squirrel Island). A shot to the middle hole is an automatic hole-in-one down below. It's a tough hole because the middle hole is small, has no leeway and there's a slight right to left break. Speed is the key to this hole. An ace here is a good confidence booster for the tougher back 9.
Peter on Hole 18 in the final round
Peter Gilchrist finishes up his final round with a 2 putt on 18. He shot a 334 over ten rounds to win the 2010 Maine State Open at Dolphin Mini Golf in Boothbay, ME.
Randy on 14 at Maine State Open 2010

Liz hole-in-one on 8
Liz gets a hole in one on the tricky 8th hole (Fisherman's House) during a practice round. Tough break to read (and very tough to get speed right) and many a person head the sound of golf ball on wood siding during the 2010 Maine State Open at Dolphin Mini Golf in Boothbay, ME. The feeling of getting it through and having it drop for the ace (not always guaranteed) is great.
Pat hole-in-one on 14
Pat demonstrates how to get a hole-in-one on #14 at Dolphin Mini Golf in Boothbay, ME. While this was during practice, he did the real thing in round 4 of the tournament to win him $20 (as the first one to ace it in the tournament).
Dolphin Hole 1 - Round 9
At the Maine State Dolphin Open, each section of rounds (Saturday morning, afternoon, evening, and both the Sunday rounds) begin on Hole #1. It is a slight uphill putt through the Toboggan. A good shot, with the right speed and angle, can easily sink an ace. But just the wrong speed or angle will send the ball back down. With everyone watching, it is a nerve-racking putt. In this video you can see how everyone fared to start the 9th round.
2013 Dolphin Round 9 Hole 1
