Great Barrier Reef - Glass Bottom Boat tour
This is just one of the many great things to see in Far North Queensland and well worth the trip. We should never let our leaders allow mining in these places.
Though, at times, there is some wind noise and noisy kids, the announcer is mostly clear enough to hear.

Sailing! Yeehaaa! - Free Range Sailing Ep 88
Strange title? That's because we have plenty of sailing action in this video including a cracking sail out of Island Head Creek, destination North Keppel Island. Join Pascale for a swim at one of its many picturesque beaches before we sail on to Great Keppel Island where we indulge in a little bit of bushcraft, seafood and good company.

THE WRECK OF THE LAURA
This video shows the wreck of the 1500 ton Austrian Schooner-rigged Steamship Laura which became foundered in bad weather on 21st November 1879 on Reighton Beach on the North Yorkshire Coast. She was carrying a cargo of Coal & Coke from Newcastle to the port of Trieste.
The Captain had taken soundings in 25 fathoms, steering South East but she became stranded at 9.45pm on a cold foggy Sunday night. The vessel ran aground broadside to the beach and the Coastguard was alerted to her distress signals at around 10.15pm. Two Filey Fishermen made their way to Scarborough to alert Harbour Officials, and the Harbour Commissioners Steam Tug, the Alexander was made ready to steam to the scene. The Filey Lifeboat attended the vessel and stood by until 2.00am.
The Captain of the Laura and his crew of 24 stayed aboard her thinking they were safe. They eventually left the vessel to be taken into the care of the Shipwrecked Fishermen`s & Mariners Society.
Attempts to re-float her the next day failed, and her cargo was unloaded with the employment of 100 Filey men, in a vain attempt to lighten her for a second attempt at salvage. By this time, Tugs were tethered to the vessel and although they managed to shift her position slightly, the ship broke in two, amidships. She was left to the sea, the Stern and Bow both facing the cliffs, the Boilers falling out of the split.
The Stern posts stand on the beach opposite Black Cliff still attached to the keel and around 80 foot of the Stern. The Boilers remain as they fell from the ship when it split. The Stern and Bow section are rarely seen but their bottom plates are visible on extreme scours as in the photographs at the end of this video.
Wreck was filmed using DJI Phantom 3
