Palau - A visit to Dolphins Pacific
Dolphins Pacific is a non-profit educational/research center in Palau, near the capital city of Koror, that keeps bottlenose dolphins (that came from Japan) in a natural bay formed by small islets of the famous “rock islands” of Palau. We visited the center and took part in 2 of their dolphin encounter programs for visitors, Close Encounter, and Dolphin Symphony.
Visitors can interact with dolphins, touch them from the dockside, or in the water, learn to make them do tricks, and if conditions are right, even go on a ride holding the dorsal fin. The trainers and guides are very knowledgeable and guide the visitors to properly interact with the dolphins. The center has been successful breeding them and when we were there, there was a baby of three months old (see if you see her jump with her mother in the film), and one female was ready to give birth at any moment. This was a great experience, and so nice to see dolphins in captivity that still can play with reef fish, and giant clams, in an actual bay in the ocean.

We really enjoyed meeting all the dolphins at Dolphins Pacific in Palau. These dolphins are from Japan except for MamiRoi who was born in Palau.
During our stay we enjoyed kayaking and snorkeling with Sam's Tours and SCUBA diving with NECO Marine. A bucket list highlight was to swim in Jellyfish Lake and to see and stay in the Rock Islands.

Palau is ranked as one of the number one undersea wonder of the world; this jewel of an island is now home to our new project Dolphin Bay. Our natural park is the largest of it's kind in the world. Dolphin Bay is nestled amongst the beautiful rock islands just minutes via boat ride from the main town of Koror. Dolphins Pacific was chartered as a non-profit corporation in January 2000, and we contracted with International Bridge Corp. of Guam to build this massive $2.5 million dollar facility in the middle of nowhere. Fourteen months and one typhoon later the facility is in operation and offers a unique experience to both visitors and locals alike. A non-profit organization has been set up in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Palau. In addition to the pools we built a 2 two-story building. The first floor is our offices, diet preparation, restrooms, showers, conference room, class rooms, h2o makers (reverse osmosis water system) generators, transportable sewage storage tanks and veterinarian office. We hired a really talented local artist to decorate the exterior of both buildings with Palauan Story Boards.

RETURN TO PALAU, Off to Dolphin Pacific
So we made friends with SOME of the SM's that were there and one of them, Giselle, was awesome enough to invite Elias, Logan and Myself to Dolphin Pacific. We had never been there before! This clip was us riding in the ghetto SDA pickup truck on the way to the boat. I also wanted every one to see a bit of the new road! Its GREAT! No more pot holes! YEAH!!!!!!!! The new roads minimize the B.W. lol lol lol (Inside joke)

年末年始９日間で韓国経由で究極の楽園リゾートパラオに行きました。
旅猿やアナザースカイ、様々な旅番組で見た綺麗な海を見たくて。
リゾートなので海も綺麗で日本人も多く、安全な国でした。
パラオの中心部からレンタカーで2時間くらいで一周できるバベルダオブ島。その島のの東北部にある滝に行きました。
ジャングルをトレッキング。途中には廃線跡あり、尾根あり、沢あり、ジャングルありと見所豊富です。
30分くらいで滝に到着！
