The China Architecture and Ceramics Museum opened in 2006 in Dongguan, China. The three-story facility features displays of many common techniques utilized in Chinese art and architectural ceramics manufacturing. The Wonderful Ceramics Group, which opened the museum, has established operations in Dongguan, Guangdong, Qingyuan, Guangdong, Fengcheng, Jiangxi, Rongchang, Chongqing and Tennessee, USA.

I discovered some dinosaur bones and fossils in a local museum in Dongguan, China. The museum is called Senhui Natural Museum and was located in an antiques market. Pretty cool!

Huawei's new campus called Ox Horn, is located in Dongguan Southern China. The Ox Horn campus is so massive and divided into 12 towns, each designed to mimic a different major European city,
Huawei invited me to visit this new Ox Horn Campus which located in Songshan Lake, Dongguan. The Ox Horn campus is divided into 12 towns, each designed to mimic various landmarks in City of Europe with historical significance. These include Paris, Verona, Burgundy, Luxembourgy, Oxford, Bruges, Windermere, Bologna, Grenada, Heidelberg, Freiburg, and Cesky Krumlov.
This campus called the Ox Horn campus because of the pointed shape of the site. In Chinese, the campus is called Xi Liu Bei Po.
Huawei's Dongguan campus is so big, Huawei operatrs mini train to transport employees between different towns. We can hop on hop off between 12 replicas of europe cities. We need 22 minutes to circle around campus by this iconic red train.

Dongguan Old Street
Dongguan Old Street is the most representative old street. It starts the east of the Grand Canal and ends at Guoqing Road with a length of 1122 meters (about 0.7 mile). This street was the center of business, handicraft industry, religion and culture in ancient Yangzhou.
Today, many time-honored shops and restaurants are still open on the Dongguan Old Street, such as Simei Sauce and Pickle Shop, Pang Guanghe Hardware Shop, Xia Guangsheng Tofu Shop and Chen Tongxing Shoe Shop.
At the entrance of the Dongguan Old Street is the Site of East Gate of the Tang and Song Dynasties.

Zhong Guanqiu, a teacher of the Architecture Department of South China University of Technology, makes a series of renovation on over 40 old houses in the 800-year-old Xinji Village in Dongguan with his team. They integrate traditional rural life with modern B&B experience, turning the place into a trendy B&B village. Since its opening in 2017, young people queue up for the B&Bs there.
