In this video I'll take you walking from Chongqing South Road to the Presidential Office Building up to Zongshan Hall around Zhongzheng District in Taipei.
I'll be taking you on a walk on the streets of Taipei. I started from the Chongqing Soth road, walked towards the Presidential Office Building made a right turn right at the Baoqing road, then turn another right on the corner of Bo'ai Road. Then made a left at Hengyang Road until I reached Zongshan Hall (中山堂).

Walking Around Taipei - Taiwan's Capital City [4K60]
This 4K walk takes us around Taipei which is the capital city of Taiwan. I start off in front of my hotel in the Zhongzheng district. I walk down to Peace Park, past the East Gate and into Liberty Square. From there I head over to the President Hall and up past the Ximen area to the North Gate and loop back to my hotel. I only got to spend a few days in Taipei but it's a fantastic city and it was great to be back as the last time I was here was over 10 years ago. I do have a few more videos from Taipei which I'll upload later on as well as some from Khaoshiung which is the second largest city in Taiwan located in the south end of the country. In case you were wondering the hotel I stayed at is the Relax 5 and as long as you don't mind the smallish rooms it represents excellent value in an ideal location.

Taipei, Taiwan Full MRT Metro Ride on Red (Tamsui-Xinyi) Line 台北捷運︱淡水信義線 (紅線)︱象山→淡水
The Tamsui–Xinyi or Red line (code R) is a metro line in Taipei operated by Taipei Metro, named after the districts it connects: Tamsui and Xinyi. It includes a total of 30 stations serving Tamsui, Beitou, Shilin, Datong, Zhongshan, Zhongzheng, Daan, and Xinyi districts. At 29 km, it is the longest line of Taipei Metro.
The Tamsui section runs mostly along the former Tamsui railway line. There most of the tracks and stations have been renovated, except in the Zhongzheng district, where a new tunnel was constructed due to lack of surface right-of-way.
The Red line is a high-capacity metro system. Routes south of Yuanshan are underground; routes between Yuanshan and Beitou are elevated; routes between Beitou and Hongshulin are ground level; and Tamsui is elevated.
淡水信義線，路線編碼為R，路線代表色為紅色，是台北捷運一條營運中的高運量路線。依興建期間與階段營運所使用的路線名稱，此路線又可再細分為淡水線和信義線兩路段，兩線以中正紀念堂站為分界，以北為淡水線，以東為信義線，其中淡水線是臺灣首條由傳統鐵路改建而成的捷運路線，其前身為臺灣鐵路管理局已經停止營運的同名支線鐵路線—臺鐵淡水線。除了主線外，淡水信義線在北投地區尚設有一條支線—新北投支線，目前台北捷運有意將此支線更改回原始設計的主線營運模式，未來其營運區間可能將為「新北投-大安」。另外除了淡水至象山站之間已經通車營運的路段外，也正在興建象山站東延至廣慈/奉天宮站的延伸線。
2016年10月11日台北捷運頒行新版路線編號作業，以「路線顏色英文字首」為編碼原則，賦予淡水信義線代表紅色的「R」字代號。但在2014年11月15日（松山線通車時）至2016年10月11日間，曾短暫使用過以數字作為路線編號的規則，當時淡水信義線是稱為2號線。
