Weekend trip to Sokcho!
Sokcho is a city on the north eastern coast of South Korea and has so many amazing places to visit. In this video, we visited the Fishery Market, the beach, and Seoraksan National Park which has many impressive views, hiking trails, a waterfall, and temple complex. I definitely recommend this spot to anyone going to South Korea, it has a really different feel from Seoul.

Stuffed Squid (Squid Sundae) at Abai Village in Sokcho, Korea [Gangwondo w/ Michin Alex]

Check out Abai Village in Sokcho, Gangwondo Province, Korea!

The Abai Sundae (Abai Korean blood sausage) and the Squid (오징어) Sundae are both incredibly tasty, and the women who work the restaurants are so nice! After you're done, stop by the seaside and walk along the mural-filled alleys of the village.
Oh, and don't for get to go to the food area by taking that rope boat ;)

It's a small village by the seaside with a lot of character and tradition that is quite unique, especially considering that many of the people who lived there were North Koreans who were not able to return because of the 38th parallel drawn after the war.

Road Trip: Sokcho, Seoraksan, Gangneung (VLOG)

18th July 2014
One day trip to the East side of South Korea!
Sokcho for lunch at the market.
Seoraksan National Park to sight-see, get some exercise, and MELT.
Gangneung Beach for some relaxation.
Special thanks to friend's boyfriend for being awesome and driving us around!
The famous spicy fried chicken is called 닭강정 (dakangjung) by the way, super tasty!
