There is a viewing pavilion on the embankment of Baishui Lake Fishing Port. To the east, you can look at the entire Baishui Lake fishing village and the surrounding waters. To the west, you can see the scenery of the Baishui Lake fishing port and the endless Taiwan Strait. The salty sea breeze blows slightly. People feel extremely happy. Go south along the seawall, along the desolate landscape of a large flood detention pond, until the southern end of the seawall, there is a different scene. On the waters connected to the sea on the south side of the sea embankment, there are a large number of neat large Styrofoam blocks. At first glance, it seems like a large installation art exhibition set by the artist here. It turns out that this is another way of raising maggots. The common oysters (oysters) are raised on maggots or maggots hung under maggots. Here, polystyrene blocks are used instead of tents to float on the water, and then stringed with ropes. Even positioning, forming a special fishing village landscape.

Baishui Lake, formerly known as Songzi Port, is a regional name of Zhangtan Village in Dongshi Township, Chiayi County, which is west of the village. It is named after the local salt field. The seawater appears in a white wave when it is poured back into the water. It developed into a settlement due to the salt industry during the Japanese rule. Most of the residents settled in Xinlili, Budai Town today, with the last names of Cai and Xiao. Mainly. Yantian started construction in 1907 and was operated by Palm Salt Co., Ltd. It was acquired and merged by Taiwan Salt Co., Ltd. in 1941. After the war, it belonged to the cloth bag salt factory of Taiwan Salt Works. After Taiwan Salt implemented the mechanization policy in 1983, there were no salt workers. At present, residents are mostly engaged in aquaculture. Shoudao Sandbar was originally an offshore sand bar of Baishui Lake. It was about 6 kilometers long and belonged to the wetland of Puzixi River Estuary. In 1932, a communication road was built here. In 1935, Shoushima Beach was set up here, and it is a famous tourist spot. Due to the implementation of the sea ban after the war, Shoudao Sandbar was designated as a restricted area for swimming. For a long time due to the subsidence of the stratum, the link road will only be exposed when the sea ebbs.
Beimen is a sleepy fishing village in Tainan. Not much going on there, but you can go to the visitor center to learn about the southwest coast area and there are some public art installations where you can take photos.

From the end of the Qing Dynasty to the beginning of the Japanese rule, the SanTioLun area, known as the SanTioLun Village, belonged to Jianshan Fort. The village is adjacent to Linzhuang Village in the north, Feisha Village in the east, Xialun Village, Xunzi Village, and the sea to the west. In 1901 it belonged to Douliu Hall. In October 1909, it was affiliated with the Chiayi Hall. In 1920, it was renamed SanTioLun and belongs to Sihuzhuang, Beigang County, Tainan Prefecture. After the war Sihuzhuang was reorganized into Sihu Township, which belonged to Tainan County.
There is a trestle bridge at SanTioLun Fishing Port, which is about 500 meters long. Boats and rubber rafts are moored on the south side of the trestle. It is used for hoisting and offshore fishing of fish and shrimp. In addition to fishermen's entry and exit, there are still a large number of anglers here. The 1940s and 1950s can be said to be the heyday of SanTioLun Fishing Port. In the peak season of spring shrimp fishing and autumn fishing every year, fishing boats from Penghu, Tainan, and Kaohsiung are clustered in the SanTioLun Fishing Port, just like the Great Wall at Sea. At night, the fishing boats are lit by lights, and the sea of lights is very charming . Although the splendor of the SanTioLun Fishing Port is no longer present, its charm still exists and its functions are still there. In addition to being available for sightseeing, the number of powered rubber rafts and the number of lifting slings still rank first in the Chiayi amd YuLin area.
