Basianshan National Forest Recreation Area is situated above Guguan on Provincial Highway 8 and is accessible from Guguan through forest roads. This vast 2492-hectare area ranges from 750 to 2424 meters above sea level. The highest point in this area is the central Basian Mountain. Since the numerous alpines and valleys block the gusty wind, the mean annual temperature is around 18ºC. With its beautiful forests and rivers, this breezy area was nominated as one of Taiwan’s top eight scenic destinations.

Dahu Park adalah sebuah lokasi wisata yang ada di taipei City Taiwan, tepatnya di daerah Neihu District.
Taipingshan National Forest Recreation Area
Located in Yilan County, Taipingshan was once considered one of Taiwan's three major logging areas. Surrounded by the lush forest, it's easy to imagine that this must have been a beehive of activity back in the heyday of the logging industry.
Dasyueshan National Forest Recreation Area；雲霧森林－大雪山國家森林遊樂區（英語版）
Located in the Heping District of Taichung City, the recreational area covers altitudes from 2,000 to 2,996 meters with forest vegetation distributed across four forest belts: tropical, subtropical, temperate, and frigid, and has a total area of 3,962.93 hectares.
Dasyueshan Forest Recreational Area has the best primeval forest bath in Taiwan and convenient transportation, that is, approx. 31 km from Dongshih when taking the Dasyueshan forest road.
Special scenic sports include Mt. Shaolai observatory, Chuansingshan Nursery Garden, sky pond, sacred trees, bird watching, cloud viewing, and the sunrise and sunset.
The forest exhibition hall displays forestry history through topics like forest protection, fire prevention, ban on illegal logging and cultivation, reforestation, hillside stability.

What Does Taipei's Neihu District Have To Offer?
Come with me everyone as I show you two of the best places to visit in Neihu District, Taipei City if you are looking for some history, culture, and beauty.
Location number one is the Neihu Red House or Guo Ziyi Memorial Hall. A luxury house built during Japanese colonial times which is now just over 100 years old.
Location number two is Bishanyan Kaizhang Shengwang Temple which sits on top of a mountain and offers what I think is the best view of Taipei City you can get from any temple anywhere.

薰衣草森林 Lavender Cottage
在薰衣草森的林入口售票亭繳完150元入園費後，工作人員會發放100元的森林幣。你可以選捧用來折抵園區的消費，或者拿回家當作紀念幣保存。
適合全家大小一同走入的大自然仙境素有紫色國度之稱的薰衣草森林，是一個坐落在台灣的台中必去旅遊景點，能讓人遠離都市的塵囂，感受大自然的愜意寧靜。
Lavender Cottage is among the famous places of interest in Taiwan situated quite a distance from Taichung, took about an hour ride (one way) for us to reach the location. The place is very well maintained and make sure to prepare yourself a camera as every corner great for instagram.
After paying the entrance fee of NT150 at the entrance hall of the Lavender Forest, the staff will issue NT100 of forest coins. Each of the coin can be used to offset the spending in the park, or can be taken home as a commemorative coin.
It’s really quite serene and s peaceful place to visit, especially the time when Lavender blooms. The Cottage is fully equipped with creative signboards so that visitors won’t get lost easily.
There is a Wishing Tree on the top of the hill. To get there, you may walk around the terraces where pots of Lavender plants till the top of the hill and you can see a vantage point area with a bell over there. Great view at the Wishing Tree spot.
Make a wish and place the written wish on the tree. Enjoy the ambience when there.
Not far away, there is building with a restaurant cafe. Lavender ice cream and food are available. Didn’t quite try the food, but it’s a nice place for a cuppa.
Lots of souvenirs shops including one where you can mail postcards to friends and yourself at the ground floor of the building!
Make sure there’s ample time allocated while visiting this place as one will need it to enjoy and not to rush. So if you are nature lover, you have to be there as it’s a really cool relaxing place.
