Animals Today TV: Donkey Sanctuary Bonaire

Donkey Sanctuary Bonaire
In 1993 Dutch Nationals established a donkey sanctuary on Bonaire for sick, wounded and orphaned donkeys. Today the primary objective of Donkey Sanctuary Bonaire is to offer a sheltered, protected life to all the donkeys of Bonaire.
The Park is open to the public: you can drive your car or go for a walk amongst the hundreds of donkeys. All in all, an enjoyable family day out.
Meeting 700 Donkeys | Donkey Sanctuary Bonaire
This is the first time we’ve been to #DonkeySanctuaryBonaire and we had a blast visiting all the donkeys. We’ve heard of all sorts of sanctuaries for animals of all types, and this is the first we’ve ever heard of a #DonkeyRescue.
Back in 1993, Marina Melis and her husband Ed Koopman were vacationing in the ABC Islands when they heard that there were donkeys on #Bonaire in need of help. With a background in helping donkeys where they are from in the Netherlands, they decided to make the move to Bonaire to help out.
Now, Marina runs Donkey Sanctuary Bonaire by enlisting the help of visitors, interns, volunteers, and donations. And if you want to adopt a donkey, there is that option as well! Go have fun, learn about the donkeys and help make a difference in their beautiful lives.

???? Who Are BE Adventure Partners?
Hi! We’re Brian and Erin. We’ve been traveling full-time since April 2017. Our YouTube Channel chronicles our travels and teaches people how to build a business online from their ideas confidently, what they know, passion, and skills. People often wonder how do travel vloggers earn income. There are many ways to make money online. Here’s a list of what we do to make money online. We create online courses about how to build a business online, showing our students the components and how to put it all together. When a client wants to get in front of thousands of people quickly, we run and manage their ad campaigns. Sometimes companies need videos created for their businesses, so we film & edit for them. When our clients need an online presence, we make them a website, or remodel their current site & provide a social media consultation. Other streams of income include offering affiliate products & services of we test & use. And for a passive income approach, we have display ads running on our website. Thanks so much for supporting our channel by watching videos & sharing them! If building a business online so you can be where you want, when you want interests you, check out the TRIBE links above. We make learning how to launch an online business DIY style, fun. And if you need more of a DFY Done For You approach, send us a message, and we can chat to see if what you need and what we offer are a mutual fit. Our channel shows what’s possible when building a business online. We appreciate you being here! If you think our videos & content would help someone you know... Please Share! – Brian + Erin

Video by Flow Synergy:
The Pekelmeer Flamingo Sanctuary is located on the southern tip of Bonaire and is home to the beautiful pink flamingo as well as scores of other birds. Salt pans are a natural draw for birds and Bonaire has been extracting salt from its natural salt ponds for centuries. The salt flats are filled with brine shrimp which are an important part of the flamingo's diet. Eating a large quantity of the shrimp give the flamingos their brilliant pink color.

Wild Donkey in the Caribbean Island of Bonaire
The southern Caribbean desert island of Bonaire is most known for offering the best snorkel and scuba diving in the Caribbean. However, Bonaire also is unique for its numerous wild donkeys roaming the island that were originally brought there by the Spanish in the 1500s. Here in this video you can see a wild donkey roaming near the beautiful rocky coastline of the island. Although the donkey may have been hungry, people are encouraged not to feed them. If you like this video then make sure to give it a thumbs up!
