Walking the Rainforest Loop at North Brother Lookout, Dooragan National Park, NSW
We were away camping with a girlfriend and her daughter and we decided to drive up to North Brother Lookout in Dooragan National Park on the Mid North Coast (near Port Macquarie, at North Haven). The views are spectacular. There was a little walk which we decided to walk - Rainforest Loop. The loop is a reasonably easy walk, although there are a few stairs and its not all on a sealed track. Local Aboriginal legend tells of the death of three brothers. North Brother Mountain, at the heart of the park, is the resting place of Dooragan, the youngest. North Brother along with Middle Brother and South Brother Mountains are a prominent feature of the Camden Haven valley.

A short glimpse into the 30km return mountain ride through Dharawal National Park near Appin. The trail runs most of the length of the National Park and you can enjoy plenty of birds and wildflowers. The first half is a gentle flow downhill to Stokes Creek Gorge, the way home is then a gently ascent uphill.

Coorabakh National Park - NSW
Drove up to this park and then back home via some lookouts and picnic grounds. Great little park not far from home. In the middle is a volcano core called Big Nellie. Might go back and climb it. Great day trip. Great views.
