The 2015th Youtuber & Blogger`s Hokkaido Food Gathering
The region Hokkaido is blessed with natural resources and creative properties which are still unknown to some parts of the world. In our aim to share this information, we are working on to commercialize goods from Hokkaido, develop channels for its distribution and spread this information. On December 10th, 2015, the Hokkaido Food Gathering, a Hokkaido taste test and information exchange gathering was held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Youtubers and bloggers were invited in the said event and exchange of promotion and ideas on how to contribute to the spread of the word about Hokkaido took place.
The video The 2015th Youtuber & Blogger`s Hokkaido Food Gathering also features the freshness of the Hokkaido Seafood and Hokkaido Holstein beef which were served in different dishes. Some of the served seafood are Sushi Moriawase or Sushi Platter (Abalones, Scallops, Botan Shrimp/ Awabi, Hotate, Botan Ebi, Hokigai or Sikhalin Surf Clam, Hirame or Olive Flounder, Samegarae or Shark-skin Flounder, and Kinki or Broadfin Thorny head) . The Hokkaido Kegani or Hokaido Horsehair crab was served together with the Hokkaido Ikura or Hokkaio Salmon Caviar, Hokkaido Hakkaku or Sailfin Poacher, Hokkaido Sushi Rolls (Crab, Tuna, and Salmon), Hokkaido Kegani no Miso or Innnards of the Hokkaido Horse Hair Crab, Hokkaido Taraba Gani, Hokkaido Bafu Uni, and Hokkaido Matsubugai. The Hokkaido Shrimp was made into a Hokkaido Ebi salad and the Hokkaido Hotate was served with Konbu (Kelp) and Tarako(Cod Roe). There were Hokkaido Sanmas and HOkkaido Tsubodais served too. The Hokkaido Holstein Beef was served with as an Ishiyaki and everyone enjoyed cooking their own Ishiyaki Hokkaido Beef. The taste test was a success and strengthened the mutual relationship between Hokkaido and Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam. The construction of the Hokkaido Village in the center of the city is much awaited and more activities are already being prepared.

Group leaders of fishermen earned enough money to build mansions which they called Nishin Goten (Herring`s Mansion). Nowadays, sea cucumbers bring fortune to local fishermen and thus being considered their newly found treasure.
