On the 3rd December 2017 I decide to jump on to the train to head south, my goal was to visit three cities in three different counties, so my second city was Douliu which is a small city not known for a large tourism industry, so I thought why not accept the challenge of finding out what is interesting about this city. I went to see Taiping Street which has Japanese architecture from the Japanese era, the old records house and got lost in the Douliu market as well as trying some Taiwanese street food.

We eat: gua bao 割包, bubble milk tea 波霸奶茶, seasoned edamame 毛豆, squid steak 烤烏賊, wild boar barbecue (mountain boar) 台灣烤肉, chestnuts 板栗, stinky tofu spicy hot pot 麻辣臭豆腐, black pepper bun 胡椒餅, strawberry candy, taro pancakes & balls 芋頭糕, and some AMAZING fruit tea 水果茶. What an INSANELY delicious night of EATING in Taiwan!!!
