Jason Down Under Episode #1: Sydney
In this first episode, Jason heads for Sydney to begin the adventure of discovering Australia. First he goes to The Rocks Market to check out its interesting historical sites, while catching a glimpse of the Sydney Vivid and the Sydney Opera House.
Jason visits the Bondi beach where he takes some surfing lessons. Who would resist not surfing on this beautiful beach? After a great time soaking up the sun, Jason rides on a Harley back to the city.
Have you heard of the Blue Mountains? Jason travels a hundred miles west to Scenic World, he quickly hops on the Scenic Railway and takes a tour around the Blue Mountains where the Three Sisters are located. At a nearby village called Leura Village, Jason stops to get food and does a little shopping. He soon discovers the Treasured Teapot Museum by Maurice Cooper, a private collector of teapots.
To wrap up Jason's visit at New South Wales, he goes on a fun trip sailing on the Sydney Harbour. Not forgetting to visit The Star, a retail and dining area including Adriano Zumbo's patisserie to indulge in good food.

The jungle in the world. Every day: Shanghai China, Sydney Australia, Bangkok Thailand. All great city. Sex, drugs, prostitution in the red light district. Colorful glittering world of neon signs. Australia Road Trip — RVgeeks Down Under!
The RVgeeks are hitting the road to Oz! We'll be camping our way from the Great Barrier Reef in Cairns, 1,700 miles down Australia's magnificent Pacific Coast to Sydney. Come on along for the ride!
Look for photos on Instagram, too! @RVgeeks
We've been dropping some hints for a while about big RVing plans that have been in the works for nearly a year. So we're excited to be officially announcing some of the details here today.
We're currently winging our way to Sydney... actually typing this on an INCREDIBLY long flight right now, on an INCREDIBLY huge Qantas A380, the double-decker Airbus that holds 484 passengers!
Before we pick up our campervan (that's what us Aussies call a small motorhome ????), we'll be on a 2-week vacation in yet another gigantic vehicle. Check out the video to see what THAT is, and for more information about our trip. We'll be filling in more details soon.
Once we hit the road, we'll be sharing every aspect of our 2,700-kilometer drive from the Great Barrier Reef back to Sydney. We'll compare the systems on our campervan to North American RVs, experience a mix of Holiday Parks and Freedom Camping and of course we'll feature the famous beauty and hospitality of Oz.
Besides videos, we'll be sharing photos on Instagram (we're RVgeeks there of course)!
Since we'll officially be on vacation for the next couple of weeks before starting our road trip, we've scheduled a couple more videos to go live during that time, so keep an eye out for those. We'll also be looking for other RVers, so we can hopefully share a preview of caravanning Down Under before we hit the road ourselves.
Thanks for following along. We hope our trip is the great adventure we've been dreaming of.
Stay tuned!

Sand Dune Adventures Down Under | Hunter Region NSW | Australia | We.Are.Wanderful
Sand Dune Adventures Down Under
Hunter Region, New South Wales | Australia
OCTOBER 31, 2016—We stopped by the Sand Dunes in the Hunter Region near Nelson Bay on our way back to Sydney from our Port Stephens Day Tour.
Similar to the Sand Dunes in Ilocos Norte (in the Philippines) that we are familiar with, the Sand Dunes in the Hunter Region of NSW are right beside the sea. I like to call these seaside sand dunes as oversized beaches.
The sands here are specially fine and very soft to the feet. Upon our arrival we transferred to these red monster 4x4 trucks that brought us to the sand boarding area, a section of the sand dunes with a steep 50-meter slope (more or less).
The steepness of the slope is not always evident in our photos and videos but when you are sitting on its edge up there it really feels like almost a vertical drop! We had so much fun sand boarding that day, especially Johan who did it at least half a dozen times!
On our way back to our bus the monster 4x4s passed through some really rugged terrain and we had a blast from the roller coaster experience.
This is a short video presentation of our visit at the Sand Dunes in the Hunter Region of NSW Australia. Enjoy watching.
