Cruise Ship Visit to Dravuni Island, Fiji
During our world circumnavigation on our yacht 'Do It', we stopped off with the Dravuni Islanders in the Fiji group. During our stay, a huge cruise ship stopped by for the day and were looked after by the islanders.

Am Sonntag, 4. Februar 2018 besuchten die Gäste des Schiffes MS Europa die kleine Insel Dravuni, die zu den Fidschi Inseln gehört. Die offene Kirche liegt gleich hinter dem Anlegesteg und die örtliche Kirchengemeinde hatte die deutschen Gäste zum Gottesdienst eingeladen und auch den Schiffspfarrer Martin Stählin (aus München) gebeten, sich aktiv zu beteiligen. So entstand ein gemeinsamer fidschi-deutscher Gottesdienst belebt von den schönen Gesängen der Kinder und Erwachsenen, trotz der Widrigkeiten mit der Generator-betriebenen Lautsprecheranlage, und untermalt vom Rauschen der Wellen am nahen Strand.
On Sunday, 4th February 2018 guests and crew members of the cruise ship MS Europa visited Dravuni Island, part of the Fiji islands, and were invited by the local church congregation to their Sunday service. The ship's pastor (minister) was asked to actively participate. This lead to a joint Fiji-German service with wonderful Fiji singing of kids and adults and underlined by the sound of the sea from the nearby beach.

Dravuni is a tiny volcanic island located in the Kadavu group of islands in Fiji. It has around 200 inhabitants. There are no roads, cars, ATMs and shops on the island.
