Belgrove Distilllery Tasmania
This video visits with Peter Bagnell at his distillery in Tasmania, Australia, where Peter distills quality sprits, including Rye Whisky - a rare expression in Australia where whisky is almost exclusively distilled from barley. Peter's affection for Rye and his uncompromising passion for quality and purity have led him to entirely managing the process from growing the rye in nearby fields to bottling the finished product. His effort have brought him acclaim from critic Jim Murray who awarded him the status of liquid Gold and an unprecedented score of 94.

Flinders Island, Flinders Wharf & The Cray Shack | Tasmania Part 2 'On The Road' Travel Series ????
Purely arriving at Flinders Island is an experience unto itself. Either a 30 minute light airplane flight from North Tasmania or a 1 hour flight from Essendon, Victoria; you fly over spectacular islands (and would be forgiven for thinking you were flying over Northern Tropical Queensland) to land on your not so average runway. Flinders Island is the largest island in the Furneaux Group located in the Bass Strait, northeast of Tasmania. Flinders Island is part of the state of Tasmania, but feels like its own country.
Traveling across Tasmania featuring the best Design & Experience, this episode we visit Swan Island, Flinders Island, The Finders Wharf & Stay at The Cray Shack

The Best Mini Bar Ever? Stillwater Seven Launceston | Tasmania Part 3 'On The Road' Travel Series ????
I must admit I have been to Launceston many times as a child but it is only really now that I fully appreciate the beauty of this town. Its natural landscape alone is simply breathtaking with Cataract Gorge in its centre and stunning hillside homes soaking up spectacular vantage points over the river. There is a confident new energy alive and well in Launceston with a combination of both well established and new independent businesses.
Like many Tasmanian cities, Launceston is steeped in history and as you walk around the city centre it won’t take long to notice the age of early buildings. The second largest population in Tasmania after Hobart, there is much happening in this town - albeit in a modest way.
We headed to Launceston with a destination in mind - to experience the new accommodation offering at Stillwater Seven, home to the cities longest standing restaurants Stillwater. Greeted with friendly faces as soon as we arrived, we were taken aback by the sheer warmth and pride the owners and staff all had for not only their establishment but for all of Tasmania.
Traveling across Tasmania featuring the best Design & Experience, this episode we visit Launceston & Stillwater Seven.

Tasmania's Best Wine on the East Coast | Discover Tasmania
The vineyards on the Great Eastern Drive give any Australian or European equivalent a run for their money. Begs the question, why are 8 of our finest wineries found within a stone's throw of each other? Is it the unique Terroir conditions, the dedication of the family run estates or perhaps a combination? You could ask local foodie Ben Milbourne, who soakes up both the wines and the breathtaking views. Better still, explore Tasmania's east coast and the picturesque Great Eastern Drive, and drop into local cellar doors for a wine tasting yourself.

Pumphouse Point & Luxurious Retreat at Lake St Clair | Tasmania Part 4 'On The Road' Travel Series ????
Tasmania used to predominantly known for its deep thick forest, natural bushland and walking tracks. Now Tasmania also conjures up thoughts of premium wines, new age whiskey and modern architecture. When you head to Lake St Clair in the state’s centre to visit Pumphouse Point, the best of old and new Tasmania combine to create an experience like no other.
Pumphouse point is stepped in history. In the 1930s, the was a vision to build a 5-storey pumphouse that would house enormous water turbines to power the hydropower system - a vision that was realised in 1940. This state of the art facility was to pump water from Lake St Clair into the nearby St Clair Lagoon where it would be stored and fed to the nearby Tarraleah Power Station as required. However, the need to use the facility failed to arise and the site was eventually decommissioned in the early 90s having never been used for its intended purpose. The Tasmanian Government assumed control of the unique site and appointed the Parks & Wildlife Service as caretaker with a view to attracting potential tourism developers. In a final tender for tourism development in 2004, Simon Currant was successful in securing the lease and began his journey toward bringing Pumphouse Point back to life to create a vibrant and unique home away from home.
Traveling across Tasmania featuring the best Design & Experience, this episode we visit Lake St Clair & Pumphouse Point.
