Military theme park lets you drive a tank, crush cars, and shoot machine guns!
Tanks for sharing!
Have your own armored mini-military adventure
-- Video and Article by Devon Puglia
It's the most fun you can have on twelve wheels.
For $950 and up, Kasota, Minnesota-based Drive-a-Tank lets ordinary civilians experience a mini-military adventure, firing off a .30 caliber machine gun, piloting a British-made tank through a muddy obstacle course, and obliterating cars beneath the treads of a Larry, a 60-ton steel behemoth.
But Drive-A-Tank is not the only option for civilians craving a military experience at home.
This month, Florida-based Incredible Adventures is offering tourists a four-day simulated counter-terrorism operation in Miami for $3,995 that includes boot camp, martial arts training, and instruction in a proven method of kidnapping, used on terrorists in the Middle East.

We're building a online database to enable you to search one or more videos at once, and in a specific order as you cannot do efficiently on You Tube.
We would like to sort videos in a different way to improve our research on Syria.
Therefore we are creating a database in which you can sort either by provinces, cities, neighborhoods or by date.
It is in our plan to build the database also in a way so you can even sort by
- arrest, kidnap and missing individuals
- crimes against humanity
- human rights violations
- war crimes
- violations against the Geneva Convention
- violations against Rules Of Engagement (ROE)
- clashes & battles
There will be two database versions: a Excel version for public use and a database for our own use.
We plan to release the Excel version via Google Documents.
We keep you posted via our twitter channel GHSRSyriaWatch

How to Save Gas with Eight Secret Tips
Watch more How to Save Money on Gas for Your Car videos:
Think you know every trick to improving your gas mileage? Here are fuel-saving strategies that aren't common knowledge.
Step 1: Don't sweat it
Go on -- enjoy your air conditioner on the highway. Consumer Reports says that AC's gas-guzzling reputation is undeserved. And, at higher speeds, opening the windows or sunroof can hurt fuel economy by increasing drag.
Step 2: Run on empty
Don't fill up your tank until you're practically on empty; the less fuel you're toting, the lighter your car, and the more efficiently it will run.
Step 3: Turn nozzle upside down
After filling up your car, turn the nozzle upside down before you remove it from your tank. You'll get another half a cup of gas that's stuck in the hose.
Step 4: Tighten your gas cap
Tighten your gas cap after filling up so you don't let any precious fuel evaporate.
Tip
Try to park in the shade. This will also help prevent evaporation.
Step 5: Use your overdrive
Put your car in overdrive for highway driving. It lowers your RPM, or revolutions per minute, which saves gas. Check your owner's manual for the recommended speed at which you may use overdrive.
Tip
If you're due for new tires, get radials; they improve gas mileage by two or three percent.
Step 6: Stay in your lane
Stay in one lane as much as possible; weaving uses up more gas.
Step 7: Cruise correctly
Use cruise control when you're on a flat highway, where it can increase mileage by 7%. But don't use it on uneven roads, where it's not efficient.
Step 8: Turn off everything
Turn off all electronics and climate controls before you cut the engine. With the extras off, your engine won't have to strain so hard to restart, leading to better gas mileage.

The Model T got 15 miles per gallon, just three mpg less than the average SUV.
Senate Passes Jobs, Energy and Commerce Bill
The Minnesota Senate passed the omnibus jobs, energy and commerce bill following an extended floor debate Monday, April 29.
In the area of economic development, the measure provides funding for several efforts, including combating labor trafficking, wage theft, vocational rehabilitation and job training.
The bill contains a controversial provision that would retroactively remove the minimum wage increase passed by the cities of Minneapolis, St. Paul and Duluth. According to the bill's author, Senator Eric Pratt, R-Prior Lake, setting labor standards should be handled by the state rather than by local units. An amendment offered by Senator Scott Dibble, DFL-Minneapolis, failed to win majority support.
In the area of energy, the bill would create a solar grant program for schools, remove the moratorium on nuclear energy and lift the cap on hydropower production. It also would help fund the expansion of electric vehicle charging stations at businesses and government agencies through a revolving loan fund that would be repaid through user fees.
