007 Bar and restaurant for sale La Mata Torrevieja, Spain
The 007 bar is reopening in April but is available for sale. The business has been closed for around 13 years as the owners moved back to the UK for family reasons. The business itself is well located and the neighbouring businesses are operational and have been since the 90s. Having a restaurant next door that has recently changed hands at 240,000 euros. While the 007 bar has been put on the market to sell at a low 159,000 euros.

A drive around the Torrevieja area during 2019. Torrevieja has a huge population of immigrants, migrants, tourists whatever you want to call them living, working and retired in the area. The population is around 50/50 compared to Spaniards in the area. It remains an important tourist destination for Spain but also economically is beneficial to the Spanish economy.

Time lapse -video Torreviejan läpiajosta maaliskuussa 2018. Kaupunkiin tultiin Alicanten suunnasta eli pohjoisesta, koukattiin keskustan kautta ja siitä takaisin vähän toista reittiä kohti Alicantea. Ajo Torreviejassa on suhteellisen helppoa. Ainakin turistilkauden ulkopuolela. Liikenneympyröitä riittä, mutta ne kylä sujuvoittavat liikennettä. Parkkipaikan löytäminen on haasteellista Torreviejan keskustassa turistikauden ulkopuolellakin - saatikka sitten sesongin aikana.

It’s not the most fun experience during high season, the roads are narrow and parking spaces are rare. Now they do have car parks, so head to these for an “easier” parking experience, the car park next to the Marina is probably the easiest to drive into and park at, as the road leading to it, both in and out of Torrevieja is wider, unlike most of the single lane one way streets in the main built up areas of the city. Some interesting (plus frustrating things) you will see as you hunt for a space, many of the bars and cafes seem to have spilled out onto the road, taking up valuable parking spaces but sadly (if you’re looking for a space and not enjoying a beer or coffee) this is common and there is nothing you can do about it, as the owners pay the council for a licence to use these spaces. You will see some of the locals “abandon” their cars on parts of the street that are clearly painted to say you can’t park, don’t copy them, if you get your car towed away, you will be in for a not so fun time trying to get it back with all the paper work and costs involved.

San Juan beach is Alicante’s most famous beach, with sands stretching from the beaches at El Campello right through to the Cabo de las Huertas headland. It is an open beach with very high-quality fine sands located in an area with lots of apartments, services and businesses. All along the beachfront, there are all kinds of restaurants and beach bars, some of which are actually on the beach itself.
There are plenty of free car parking spaces but in summer months the parking spaces will be full.
The beach is very popular with the locals. This video was taken on May 3rd, 2019 and season has just started and there are not many people in the morning.
The view is awesome and it is very nice to walk on the promenade early in the morning.
