It is a National Park campsite so normal National Park fees and rules apply.

Dryandra Woodland - Barna Mia - Parks in Western Australia
Barna Mia is an animal sanctuary where you can take a nocturnal tour with guides.
Dryandra Woodland is located 180 kilometres south-east of Perth, in a tranquil and peaceful area. A perfect place to spend a couple of days with friends or in family.
A good to to observe Western Australian Native animals.
Barna Mia is home to six species of marsupial - bilby, boodie, mala, quenda, woylie and marl - with live in 4ha enclosures that keep out introduced predators.
Dryandra - Congelin Campground
A quick look at the Congelin Campground in the Dryandra Woodland Area. It is a very relaxing and peaceful camping location between Narrogin and Williams in Western Australia.
Not much more to do than relax, explore some history, and observe the wildlife.

Cuballing - Western Australia
The town of Cuballing has a population of approximately 300, and the whole Shire is approximately 600.
The Cuballing Hall was been re-painted inside and outside and restored to its original beauty.
The town seems to reside in the distant past and visitors may feel like they have stepped back to the 1930s. The town dates back to the 1880s and despite never developing like its near neighbour Narrogin, it manages to survive.
The major attraction in the area is the Dryandra State Forest which is one of the last remaining pockets of woodland in the wheat belt. This area will help people to understand what the wheat belt was like before it was cleared for cropping.
In the forest, there are still colonies of woylie, tammar and numbat plus over 100 species of birds. A guided tour of the area is available by tuning your radio to 100FM.

Dowerin - Western Australia
Dowerin is probably best known for the annual 'field days' that are held in the town.
In August each year the Dowerin Field Days attract farmers from near and far. It is one of the largest agricultural shows in the state. It all started in 1965 and at first was just an adjunct to the local agricultural show but after the first year it was obvious that the Field Days were to become the main attraction.
I first attended the Dowerin Field Days in 1984 when I was working for an agricultural software company called Country Soft. There were 373 exhibitors and over 20,000 people attended the show. By 1996 there were 680 exhibitors and 51,000 visitors. This is truly a remarkable event staged by what is quite a small and fairly isolated town.
Few West Australian football fans will not have heard the name Mal Brown. Although Mal only came to Dowerin at the age of six, he spent his formative years there and went on to become a household name in Australian Rules Football.
By 1990 the widespread problem of land salinity was affecting land in the area and an action group was formed to help tackle the problem. In the space of two years the group had planted 40,000 trees and continues to work to reduce salinity in the area.
Dowerin is located on a route now called the Pioneers Pathway. This is an alternate route from Perth to Merredin and encompasses the towns of Goomalling, Dowerin, Wyalkatchem, Trayning, Nungarin, and Merredin.

Meet the Great Walk Part 2
Join Rona and the other members of the Great Walk Network as they explore more country in the Narrogin area, country of the Noongar people in the South of Western Australia. See below for the history of The Great Walk.
They look at sustainability and land rehabilitation initiatives and the massive efforts taken to reduce the salinity in local lake, lake Toolibin Lake, a seasonal fresh to brackish water perched lake or wooded swamp, in south-western Australia. The lake is contained with a 493-hectare (1,218-acre) nature reserve and it is located about 200 kilometres (124 mi) south-east of Perth, in the Shire of Narrogin, in the Wheatbelt of Western Australia. Toolibin Lake is recognised as a wetland of international importance under the Ramsar Convention on Wetlands, under which it was designated Ramsar Site 483 on 7 June 1990. The Ramsar site includes the entire area of the lake with some adjacent land on the northern, western and southern sides of the lake added in 2001 since the original site nomination, ensuring a buffer zone of at least 100 m width around most of the lake.

Great Walk Networking is a bushwalking community in Western Australia. The Great Walk started in 1988 as a protest walk from Denmark to Parliament House in Perth, to raise awareness of logging in Western Australia's old growth forests.
The organisation of the first Walk was also an Australian Bicentenary celebration to appreciate the environment of Southwest Australia, which is home to a relatively small but unique tall forest heritage: the world's only Eucalyptus marginata (Jarrah), E. diversicolor (karri), E. jacksonii (Tingle), E. wandoo subsp. wandoo (Wandoo), E. patens (Blackbutt) and E. gomphocephala (Tuart) forests grow there.
Since 1988, different people have organized walks a few times each year. Most Walks are still organized with a focus on raising awareness of conservation and land use issues.] Great Walk Networking is a non-profit voluntary organization.
