Apologies for the no show yesterday! I was feeling really sick and the only thing you would have seen was me in bed in pain...

but yesterday evening I was feeling better in the evening and head out to the night market. I LOVE night markets, I did my nails there a few weeks ago. Walking around at night feels so safe, very family orientated and lively in all the right ways. With everything your heart desires and at a super low price. Perfect. A few stares but...don't mind, I'm an oddity there.

Also it was perfect because the darkness hid how awful I was looking :p

In 2015, Beijinger Duan Mingqiang transformed an 80-square-meter old house at the foot of the Great Wall into a spiritual shelter from the exhausting life that has drained him. At the beginning of this year, he posted an invitation online inviting strangers to share stories with him and he in turn reciprocates with free accommodation. A couple that has been married over forty years opened up to each other in his house; a homosexual photographer who came out to his parents accepted himself…… “They can feel free to tell me these secret stories they may never share with their families or lovers. The trust between strangers is wonderful.”
