When Stan was collected in north-western South Dakota in 1992, it was clear that Stan Sacrison had made a significant discovery. It was only after the bones were prepared, however, that it became clear that this specimen included the best skull of all the Tyrannosaurus rex specimens ever collected. Not only was Stan's skull virtually complete, but the bones were preserved in pristine condition. Perhaps even more importantly, the many bones of the skull were found mostly disarticulated (separated), allowing for a more detailed study than any other T.rex skull.

A Day at the British Museum
They let me in with my camera, so I was able to spend a day at the British Museum in London. Although at first I was concerned that my SD card wouldn't last, because it had last week's video on it still, in fact it went on for over an hour - so you can get a good, if brief look at what's on show.
The British Museum claims to have 4 million items on show, though, so if you want to see it all, you'll probably need to hang out there for a while... In this video, I can only show you a brief look, as I wander around rather swiftly looking through several, though not all, of the main galleries. We visit Egypt, Assyria, Ancient Greece and Rome, the Islamic World, Clocks, the Mexican Gallery, the Native American Gallery, and many others. I didn't get to the Japanese Gallery before running out of time, though, so there's still plenty to see at the British Museum.
The British Museum is located very near to Tottenham Court Road tube station (and indeed others) so you can see how I got there in my previous video, Strolling Around Bloomsbury.

ABOUT ALPHATUCANA
This channel is about 'waking up' from our matrix-induced slumber, and about leaving the World a better place than we found it. For most of us, our powers and motivation are strictly limited. We are fundamentally alone in a vast and mysterious Universe, but in the struggle to survive, to 'succeed', or to just get by, we sometimes forget the bigger picture, and we sometimes forget to just relax for a while and remember what an amazing World this is. There is plenty to look at: science, Nature, society... And there are plenty of games to help us get away from it all... So on this channel, I vlog about science, Nature, enlightenment, current affairs and much else besides, I upload sightseeing videos showing London, England, or my holidays elsewhere, and I upload gameplay videos. So why not join in for a while and see what you think?
POSTING SCHEDULE
This depends in part on whether I have had time to record videos in between going to work and living the rest of my life! Usually it runs like this:
- Sat or Sun: a vlog or sightseeing video at midday (UK time).
- Gameplay videos: pretty random - typically at midday on weekdays, but not all the time.
- If I have something extra to post it usually appears at some random time :) I may livestream occasionally too.
