Torrential rains have flooded thousands of square miles of China's southern lands and towns causing heavy flooding and landslides, killing at least 171 people and causing $4 billion in damage so far.

the cityscape of chengdu seen from the elevated 2nd ring road. For those who would like to have an idea of chengdu. the elevated ring road runs at the height of approximitely the 5th floor of a building, so.. the low buildings you see are about 8 floors high, the higher ones vary from 25 to 50 floors... we chose a time where there is fairly little traffic: lunchtime. The music is taken from a live recording at a concert in Chengdu's BerlinHaus called SHIFT A6. the artists playing there were WU ZHUO LING and ZHAO HA HA. this video is mainly meant for those who know chengdu a bit and want a small reminder. put it on as a background video and soundscape. Enjoy the ride and enjoy the music!

What started as an innocent enough daytrip to Longchi Village just north of Dujiangyan turned into a much more eerie and contemplative time than I expected. It turns out that not everyone and everything is all well and good in some areas after the Wenchuan Earthquake struck....even ten years later. I was quite sad during some parts of this tour, and I'm not really sure how I feel about making a video about it. Your thoughts?

The Wuyi Mountains (Chinese: 武夷山; pinyin: Wǔyí Shān; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Bú-î-soaⁿ) are a mountain range located in the prefecture of Nanping, in northern Fujian province near the border with Jiangxi province, China.
The highest peak in the area is Mount Huanggang at 2,158 metres on the border of Fujian and Jiangxi, making it the highest point of both provinces; the lowest altitudes are around 200 metres.

Located in the northwest of Sichuan province, Miyaluo natural reserve area is known for its magnificent landscapes with numerous red leaves. It is one of the biggest red leaves scenic areas opened to outside world in China and was ratified as provincial-level scenic area in 1995. The vegetation coverage of Miyaluo scenic area is 90% while the forest coverage is 75%, creating a favorable ecological environment. It boasts continuous mountains, crisscross rivers, a vast stretch of forest, fresh air, with pleasant sceneries all the year around.
Guangwushan Scenic Area
Located in the northern part of Nanjiang county, Guangwushan Scenic Area covers an area of 400 square kilometers, with the highest point at 2500 meters above the sea level. It was listed as the key provincial-level scenic area in 1993 and enjoyed the reputation of State 4A-level Scenic area in 2010, with plenty of rare animals and plants inhabiting here. Guangwushan Scenic Area is a collection of complicated terrains, overlapping mountains, attractive caves, numerous mountain springs and a sea of mist. The number of ancient rare animals and plants ranks first among the famous mountains in China.
