Sandbanks Provincial Park: Walking by Lake Ontario on a stunning beach beside sand dunes with a dog
This was one of the most amazing places I have ever been. This weekend I visited the outlet beach in Sandbanks Provincial Park in Pocton, Ontario. The beach seems all natural and is surrounded by gorgeous sand dunes that are considered the world's largest fresh water and sand dune system. Also amazing is the gorgeous view of Lake Ontario to the east.
Apparently the dunes were created from glaciers over 12,000 years ago.
For a little bonus, I was also walking a dog in this video.
